As an ABA student, I found this podcast to be an excellent resource to gain more insight into the field. I listened to episode 291 on Ethics and it was really interesting to listen to the various ethical dilemmas that may arise as a practicing BCBA. I would recommend this podcast to other students!
Episode 186 Goal Setting- Insightful and Practical

I enjoyed episode 186 “Goal Setting” of ABA inside track Podcast, where the hosts discuss goal setting and it’s role in applied behavior analysis. The hosts communicate how setting clear goals, giving feedback, and using visual aids can improve behaviors in the workplace and classrooms. They cover real research examples like improving data collection. This episode was easy to follow and gave ideas I can use through graduate school, my career, and day-to-day life. I highly recommend it to anyone in ABA looking to make goals work better for themselves and their clients.

I absolutely loved the insight from the COVID pandemic episode discussing ABA services in Italy. It provided valuable insight to a different culture of ABA and the importance of teaching ADLS.
Educational and Humoristic!

In episode 2, host, and co-host conducted literature reviews while discussing hypothesis on “traditional pairing” and “discriminative stimulus pairing” (2016) pointing out the importance of identifying previous learner history in order to successfully acquire a new conditioned reinforcement. They utilize modern humor to keep listeners engaged while using common ABA language. A point I found amusing is how often we use conditioned reinforcers on a daily basis, for instance in our relationships or jobs. We, ourselves pair stimulus to a response creating reinforcers for ourselves and can easily replace that reinforcer with a newly conditioned one almost on demand. While reviewing two articles, this episode also gave the listener insight on research and different methods on evoking a conditioned response educating on the terminology and giving thorough analysis on both the research and future modifications for replication.
