Automate you Podcast workflow with Claude, our API and Zapier

In this live session, I walk through how to automate your podcast workflow with Pod Home—from simple no‑code triggers to advanced AI agents. I demo our Zapier integration for hands‑off social posting when an episode publishes, highlight our public API for power users, and show brand‑new MCP support so assistants like Claude and Copilot can create, edit, and publish episodes on your behalf.  We also cover practical safety tips like resetting API keys, and I give a quick, live example of asking Claude to upload and publish an episode end‑to‑end. Thorsten from the Null Signal Bitcoin Podcast joins to demo his open‑source “podcast manager” built on the Pod Home API: release‑boosting with Lightning donations, syncing episodes and transcripts, LLM‑powered prompts for social posts, YouTube auto‑uploads, and analytics that combine downloads with boosts. We finish with Q&A on live podcasting (audio vs. HLS video), current Zapier/Make capabilities and limitations, and how Pod Home AI plus MCP lets you talk to your stack to get work done.  If you’re new, there’s a limited‑time code for extended trials to kick the tires and start automating. In this live session, I walk through the newest automation options in Podhome and how real creators are using them to streamline production. We cover simple no‑code workflows with Zapier (e.g., posting to social automatically when an episode goes live), then dig into our public API for advanced use cases like auto‑syncing episodes, analytics, transcripts, chapters, and people. Thorsten from the Nodesignal Bitcoin Podcast demos his custom, open‑source “podcast manager” that layers on Podhome’s API to handle release boosting with Lightning donations, transcript‑driven social posts via LLM prompts, YouTube uploads, wallet analytics, and more for a distributed team. We also preview our new MCP connector so you can operate Podhome directly from AI assistants like Claude or Microsoft Copilot—asking for stats, creating drafts, uploading audio, and publishing by voice or chat. I close by showing a live example: using Claude to upload an audio file, create a draft in Podhome, and publish it—end‑to‑end—plus ideas for generating show notes and social captions from transcripts. If you want to automate your podcast from “record” to “promote,” this walkthrough is for you. Podhome AI in Action: Auto Show Notes, Chapters, Clips, and More

Listen in on our first Webinar.  Barry will talk about why he started Podhome, what Podhome is, and how unlimited podcasts and episodes work. We'll also demonstrate Podhome AI: our clever Ai that automatically generates Transcripts, Chapters, Clips, Title suggestions and more. During the webinar you can ask questions live, and Barry will answer them. Ask anything! In this first monthly Podhome webinar, I walk through how Podhome makes podcasting effortless—from spinning up a brand-new show to publishing and listening in modern podcast apps within minutes. I demo creating a show, uploading an episode, and letting Podhome AI auto-generate transcripts, titles, show notes, chapters, speaker IDs, clips, and a resources list. We also explore unlimited podcasting (unlimited shows, episodes, uploads, and downloads on one simple plan), live podcasting support, analytics, team collaboration, websites with custom domains, embeddable players, audio enhancement, donation pages, dynamic text/audio, and our robust API for automations and integrations. I showcase chapters with custom artwork and GIFs, live listening in the Podhome Podcast Player, “hotpinked” rapid metadata updates, and how modern Podcasting 2.0 features (like soundbites/clips) surface across compatible apps. I close with what’s next—monthly deep dives on integrations (API, Zapier, AI workflows)—and an invitation to try Podhome with a free trial and a special promo for new users. We discuss the learning curve in podcasting, from experimenting with different recording tools to refining mic techniques. Kyron emphasizes the importance of relistening to your own episodes to identify areas for improvement. He highlights the benefits of incorporating chapter images and going live on podcast apps to enhance audience engagement. We explore Kyron's goals for podcasting, which focus more on audience interaction and personal fulfillment rather than financial gain. He shares his thoughts on the value-for-value model and the importance of creating content that resonates with listeners. Kyron's workflow involves extensive preparation before going live, which allows for a quick turnaround in releasing episodes. He uses various tools like Adobe Audition for editing and emphasizes the importance of recording backups. We also touch on the challenges and benefits of doing live podcasts, the significance of audience engagement, and the evolving landscape of podcasting technology. Finally, Kyron offers valuable tips for aspiring podcasters, including the importance of setting clear goals, testing different approaches, and maintaining consistency. He encourages podcasters to focus on what they enjoy and to be open to evolving their methods over time.
