038 Hospitality Made Simple Pt. 2

Hospitality is about learning to welcome like Jesus. In this episode, we explore how hosting and hospitality aren’t the same thing and specific ways to reach out to the people in your life when you feel stuck. Surprise! We talk about Taylor Swift again. We talk about songs that are keeping us going, what’s in our cart, and all the ways that we are called to be generous as believers. We get to be generous with our time, energy, home, possessions, creative talents, practical skills, and our words. What area do you most want to grow in this season?

037 Hospitality Made Simple Pt. 1

037 Hospitality Made Simple Pt. 1

Hospitality is meeting a need, motivated by love. This two-part series will give you practical inspiration + soulful encouragement to keep pursuing others as Christ has pursued you. Even and especially when you feel like it has to always look like a Pinterest dinner party.

In this episode, we giggle about Travis + Taylor, how much we are loving the Golden Bachelor, and free you up to love others simply. As believers, we are all called to hospitality. But what does it look like? Hospitality can and will look different in every season. Today we are busting myths that hospitality has only one dimension, and share real-life examples of hospitality in our own lives!

    034 Friend vs. Follower

    034 Friend vs. Follower

In “Friend vs. Follower” we want to address relationships… Basically, the ‘social’ in social media. Instagram was once just about posting in the moment, instantly for and with friends before it became the introduction of influencers, forever changing the marketing world.

On Facebook, we call them “friends.” On Instagram, we call them “followers.” In this episode, we’ll be talking about how we navigate making connections, building friendships, consuming different content without compromising our convictions, and living in a time where influencers are our go-to sources for advice?

So fulfilling, encouraging and challenging!

Emilee has such a sweet nature and a tender heart, this podcast is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s got wholesome Spirit-filled content mixed a little pop culture and I feel like I’m sitting down in her cozy living room for a chat. You will love this podcast if you love girl talk, scripture, learning how to grow as a Godly woman, and the feeling of catching up with a girlfriend.

I’m a new listener and I binged most of the episodes over a weekend, and I can’t wait for more to come!

Refreshing + relatable

Emilee is such a talented podcast host! I always leave her episodes so encouraged and pumped to trust in Jesus more. You can really tell she has a deep love for God and people and going past the surface level fluff in her questions. Can’t recommend this podcast enough!
