    S07 E11.5 - IANDUSTRIAL - DISCRETIONARY CUT

Get a taste of the treats that our patrons receive. The almost-unedited conversation between DDay, Beth, and Iandustrial about Soak, but mostly what happened at the wet burn and how stupid Burning Man themes are.

    S07 BB01 - Ask Threelationship Anything

It's time for another Burn Barrel chat-a-thon episode!
Rex: confidenty doesn't know what he's talking about. DDay: confidently along for the ride. Beth: confidently making things simple and clear. All of us: making requests of Late Bus. Couple to Thruple. That Kevin Spacey Documentary. Crumb.
    Ask A3rd Anythings:
Why did y’all stop doing the cut-in edits? When you do Resto Ep? Performance art things last year? DDay rock the plumpers? When where not finding what wanted led to finding amazing? What is the worst ate or drank? What is best advice you got? What's "best" advice that was worst? If through some weird dimensional time vortex you found yourself in the first few black rock desert burns in the late '80s & early '90s and were part of the inner circle with Larry Harvey & the founders, knowing what you know now, what would you have the Org do differently to change the future of the burn and burn culture? What was best day? What worst? Worried about population collapse? Will A3rd refresh the Survival Guide, VAG, or Consent? What's your fav unders under there?? Most dangerous thingus? Longest gone misunderstanding?  If one were to recognize y'all randomly on Playa one year, what would be the best and kindest way to approach as to not make it weird?

You can fit so much burning man in here

This is one of the few projects that I feel really captures burn culture authentically. It’s hard for me to describe what Burning Man or the regionals are like to people who have never been before, so instead I just send them right over to Accuracy Third, and after listening to a few episodes they start to get the idea. This project is not a how-to guide, although there are a few special episodes with advice. Nor is it any view on Burning Man through rose tinted glasses. On the contrary, I’ve heard some of the best critiques and ideas on how to improve the event and the culture as a whole from this podcast, which gives me high hopes for this community that I love so much. The stories here come from all kinds of people, ranging from absurd and spectacular to intimate, bittersweet, and sometimes tragic. Just like being at the event, there are lots of emotions on display, and sometimes things are chaotic - but the hosts always keep things grounded with their own wit and strong personalities. It’s a magic thing for burners missing their community, and maybe for those who haven’t discovered it yet as well.

Love!

These 3 have made by far the best black rock city centric pod cast! If you are at all interested in making a visit to this amazing city or just want to learn about the culture this is the podcast for you!

Snark central...in a good way

This podcast is chock full of one of Burner Culture’s hallmarks: SNARK (and it does it in the best ways). I love hearing the relationships between hosts and/or guests play out so authentically! Episode topics are varied, moving between the touching, the inspiring, the horrifying, and the hilarious.
