    God Said Leave...So Why Did This Happen Next?

    This is the part nobody talks about… especially as a mom. Everyone will tell you to trust God, take the leap, and walk in obedience. But what happens when you actually do it… and everything gets more confusing? At the time, I wasn’t just working a job. I was a full-time working mom, a wife, building a business, managing daycare, sick days, schedules, and trying to be everything for everybody. And even though I was doing everything right… Something still felt off. In this episode, I’m sharing the real story behind me leaving my job. Not the highlight version. The version where: • I was juggling motherhood and still feeling like I wasn’t enough • God started shifting me before I understood what He was doing • I finally obeyed… and a better opportunity showed up at the same time • And I had to choose obedience without clarity If you’re a mom and you’ve been feeling: Like something isn’t aligned Like you’re doing everything but still feel off Like you’re overwhelmed but can’t explain why This episode is for you.     There was a season of my life where I had three kids, I was homeschooling during a pandemic, I was a stay-at-home mom… and I still didn’t know who I was. Somewhere along the way I had become who I thought I needed to be in order to be a good mom and a good wife. But Destiny still hadn’t been discovered. In this episode of the Wall of Evidence series, I’m breaking down another frame behind me — my makeup certification — and the season where God began showing me that beauty alone wasn’t the answer. Because the truth is: You can put on the cutest outfit. You can do your makeup perfectly. But if your identity isn’t found… what is it really covering? This episode is about the moment I realized I had to start pouring into myself again — not just on the outside, but on the inside too. Sometimes rediscovering who you are begins with the smallest step of obedience. And sometimes that step becomes another stone on your wall of evidence.

In this episode of the Wall of Evidence series, I’m breaking down the first frame behind me — my degrees. At 22, I was a new wife, a new mom, and a college graduate. I thought the cap and gown would bring clarity. It didn’t. Instead, I found myself wrestling with identity, faith, and the quiet fear that maybe I was behind. This episode is about what God’s grace really looked like in that season. Grace wasn’t instant clarity. Grace wasn’t rescue. Grace was room. Room to grow. Room to mature. Room to figure it out.
