    Actorshpere Podcast Episode 20: Paul Spitale and Charlene Amoia Charlene Amoia grew up in Buffalo, New York, relocating to Las Vegas at the age of 15. She would later move to Los Angeles to pursue her love of acting. Amoia enjoyed a successful modeling career, and appeared in many commercials and television shows before landing the recurring role of Wendy the waitress on the hit sitcom "How I Met Your Mother". Though originally initially hired to play Wendy in only one episode, the character was so popular with audiences that the role was upped to recurring. Amoia has appeared in several recent feature films including "Seven Pounds" (2008) with Will Smith, "American Reunion" (2012) with Jason Biggs, "Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn" (2020) playing the young Huntress's mother along side Margo Robbie and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson. The actress, seen as Dr. Kate Lachman on "Grey's Anatomy", starred in indie hit, "Fat", which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. She recently guest starred as Bessica on the season finally of Matt LeBlanc's, "Man with a Plan." Rock on, actor!

He is President of the Theatre Alliance of Buffalo, Vice President of ComedySportz Buffalo and Creative Director/Business Manager of BusinessTheatre Works, LLC, a workplace consulting company, which specializes in developing theatrically based, educational training programs. He has experience working as an actor, producer, director, and writer.  Some stage credits include, Farragut North (Road Less Traveled Productions), A Raisin in the Sun (Studio Arena), The Lion in the Winter (Irish Classical) and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Ujima). On-Camera credits include, Three Rivers (CBS), Battledogs (Syfy), Not Human and B.O.Y.D. and as well as numerous 48 Hour Film Projects. He is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA and Actors Equity Association. Rock on, actor!

    Actorshpere Ep 18: Paul Spitale & Daniel Croix LIVE FROM THE CASTING BUFFALO ACTOR EXPO 2024 !!! Daniel Croix is originally from Buffalo, New York, where he attended high school at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. He trained at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts & Film at Purchase College and joins the ranks of notable alumni such as Stanley Tucci, Edie Falco, and Constance Wu. He moved to Harlem after graduation and appeared in the New York Times Critic Pick: Kenny Leon's 'Much Ado About Nothing' at the Public's Shakespeare in the Park, alongside Danielle Brooks (Orange Is the New Black). Scouted from the stage, he began starring as Jason in the white-house drama 'The Oval' on BET. In 2023 he founded Ringshout Productions to create and develop originals. He also founded the Lorna Hill Artist Development Fellowship to uplift early career artists in his hometown of Buffalo New York. He serves on the advisory board of Ujima Company Inc., a multi-ethnic theatre company dedicated to preserving and uplifting the traditions of African American storytelling. Daniel Croix Henderson is a graduate of the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts with a BFA in Acting. Rock on, actor!

With a focus on creating original content with other emerging artists, Jim has produced work for clients such as Vans, ESPN, Nike, Adult Swim, Sub Pop Records, Vice Media, and Nintendo. In 2010 Jim released his first feature film, Honest Man: The Life of R.Budd Dwyer. He was also the Co-Creator, Executive Producer, and Writer of Sanjay & Craig - an Emmy nominated animated show on Nickelodeon. Most recently, Jim has produced and directed animated content for Paramount Pictures, TBS, Adult Swim, and Cartoon Network. Under his Wide Right Interactive banner, Jim has released three videogames - Freedom Finger (2020), What The Dub?! (2021), and most recently RiffTrax: The Game (2022). Rock on, actor!

Kyle Mecca is a film & commercial director, co-owner & casting director at Casting Buffalo, and co-owner of Giant Monster Productions.  Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, and graduate from SUNY Buffalo State with a BA in Television and Film with a Minor in Writing. His directorial feature film 'Dwelling' debuted in 2017, distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment. Since Mecca has worked on an extensive amount of films in various crew roles including Marshall (2017), A Quiet Place Part II (2020), Paranormal Activity: Next to Kin (2021) and Nightmare Alley (2021).  Additionally he is an adjunct film Professor at SUNY Buffalo State University as part of the Television and Film Arts program.
