So much truth

I started listening to Heidi about 4 years ago on youtube. I am excited to see there is now a podcast! I have listened to literally dozens of addiction podcasts over the last 7 years and Heidi is always right on point and absolutely 500% accurate with everything she teaches. Thanks for being a light and a trusted voice in this dark space called addiction.❤️

Very good podcast. Food for thought.
There’s a scene in my favorite show Mad Men. It goes something like “people show you who they are but we want them to be who we want them to be”
As a person who feels like she has a PhD in codependent traits. I just left a 25 year marriage. I remember the day I decided to settle for more. Untangling this and actually leaving and healing has been a series of challenges. Because see I thought if I walked away from the problem there would be no problems. The universe has jokes though—I was the problem too!
Anyway, Heidi’s podcast challenges you to think from all angles. Her podcast gives practical application to rebuilding and strengthening lives.
Many blessings to her for putting this out there and being honest, funny, and realistic.
