Walking the PCT with a Baby | Episode 030

In 2023 my friend Jack McClure, his wife Alana, and their baby Din walked most of the way from Canada to Mexico on the Pacific Crest Trail. They ended at my place and spent a month here.

Jack wrote a book about their experience. Find details of where to snag it here.

In this conversation we talk about the book writing process, their experience on trail, and what they’ve got in mind next.

Bryan comes back on the podcast to talk about how pathological culture lets us down by failing to meet whole dimensions of human needs and then gaslighting us about it.

Inspiring me to live a more resilient and self-sufficient life.

Tyler Disney's Advanced Retroadaptics inspires me to live a more resilient and self-sufficient life. Tyler has conversations with great guests who show alternative ways of living. He inspires and challenges me to live a more sustainable, self-sufficient, and sustainable life. He teaches that as individuals we can develop our skills rather than just use money as a solution to all our life's problems. Highly recommend this podcast!

Finally some real talk

Tyler gives it to us straight with his opinion mixed in with objective fact about the trajectory of our society and what we need to do to break through to the next level. Finally someone who doesn’t patronize us with a watered-down reality, but rather gives the harsh truth even when it’s very uncomfortable.
