Great to reconnect with the 1928 liturgy

Still So Much to Learn

Grew up on 1928, was a conservative in the battles over the 1979 BCP. Bible was only a background to my faith until my 20’s. Military made regular attendance difficult. Happily discovered the Bible as the word of God, still voracious, still feel as if I have only begun. But mIss the old rhythms and the ties —through family, through the Christian Church over the ages, through the worship of Israel—to God Himself. Still seeking that balance between Bible and liturgy. Not close to an ACNA Church, local Episcopal church offers communion but sermons seem of a different God. Thanks so much. This helps while I still struggle to grow. God bless you.
