I’ve been listening to this podcast for three years and it has been a tremendous blessing each December. I grew up in a fundamentalist church and didn’t know anything about Advent, but was looking for spiritual connection and decided to try this. It’s been wonderful. I’ve been further enlightened through the love of Christ because of this podcast. It’s a simple format, and not complex, but all the better for it. I hope this podcast continues each year for as long as Dr. Allen wishes to continue. Also, you asked about interest in a Lent podcast. I admit I am also largely ignorant about Lent, but I am curious and would be interested in learning about these traditions if you choose to make a podcast on that topic.

Episodes are brief which is appropriate for a daily devotional. Very well thought out messages and great music. What a voice this pastor has! Both speaking and singing. This podcast is just what I need for the Advent season. Highly recommended.
