How Schitt's Creek Mirrors Military Life

Ew, David! We have been waiting a long time for this: we are talking all about  the Rose family and Schitt's Creek. More specifically, we are putting our own spin on how the story arc of Schitt's Creek has a lot of similarities to what military life is like. We dive deep into being a fish out of water, new in town, roles different family members take on, self-discovery and awareness, personal growth, and for good measure we give a rundown on all of the characters' Enneagram types.

Perfect!

This podcast is perfect for a quick walk around the neighbourhood or a jaunt to the grocery store. Thankful for Kellie and Claire who have the wisdom to make sense out of the Enneagram and this crazy military life. Well done!

Is five stars even enough?

Bogged down in news? Stressed about the pandemic? Wishing for a friend to chat with while you fold the laundry but everyone is busy working from home and supervising virtual learning? Look no further! You’ll feel like you’ve known Kellie and Claire for years and will enjoy listening to their conversations as they address life’s little (and big!) problems from the perspective of a military spouse. They have episodes on self improvement, relationships, social media, and so much more. If you love the Enneagram, or are just starting to learn about it, they have a fabulous series of episodes on each type. I look forward to listening every week, and I can’t wait to see what topics they’ll cover next!

Great resource for military spouses!

When I first started listening, I binge-listened to like 3 episodes! I really enjoyed the homework at the end of each one. I love that this podcast is so relatable. Even when I don’t think the episode title really speaks to me, I’ll inevitably find something in it that makes me consider something I may not have previously thought about. And while united on their topics, I like that Claire and Kellie present different perspectives based on their personalities and personal lives. I’m also enjoying the guest segments. Keep up the great work ladies!
