Want to know a little about what we're doing here at Associated Engineering? This intro to AE Live is just the beginning of our conversations with Associated's talented staff.

In Episode 4, we speak with Jermyn Wong, a structural engineer at Associated Engineering. Jermyn talks a little about his goals and motivations, and what inspires him, and also speaks about some of the more iconic projects he's had a chance to work on. We'll explore what makes a project special, and explore the ways he'd been able to work with a building's structure to make it unique. Lastly, he'll take some time to go over Parcel 21, a pair of high-efficiency residence buildings at Simon Fraser University.

On Episode 3, we talk to Freda Leong, AE's National Leader, Indigenous Communities. She talks about all the time she's in Indigenous communities across British Columbia. Freda shares some stories about the relationships she's built, and the lessons she's learned on the importance of listening when working on projects in small and remote communities.

On this episode of AE Live, we talk to Rebekka Lindskoog, Manager, Northern Environment for Associated Environmental. She discusses some of the hardships Canada's northern territories are facing due to climate change and difficulties accessing remote communities. We also talk a bit about the opportunities that are available for people to live and work in this amazing and beautiful part of Canada.
