They go back to their old ways. True confession involves a transformation of what you do. Does your confession result in a change of behavior? Or do you go back to your old habits?

    When we say we’re committed to the Lord, what does that really mean? Are we willing to give up everything—or just the parts that are easy? For most of us, the hardest things to let go of are our time and our money. It’s one thing to give up certain habits, like the music we listen to, but it’s another thing to surrender what we value most. Today, Pastor Terry challenges you to ask yourself: Am I willing to give God all of my time? All of my money? Or am I only offering up the things that don’t really cost me much?

When believing in Jesus is comfortable and convenient, you’re all in. However, other voices can creep in and whisper to you, urging you to make compromises. Are you all in for Jesus? Today, Pastor Terry emphasizes the importance of being one hundred percent committed to trusting Jesus.

Self-help programs can lead us through a complicated maze of steps that ultimately result in dead ends. Just as God led the Israelites out of their bondage in Egypt, He can provide us with permanent solutions through Christ.

    We often focus on our perceived lack of ability and talents, which can lead to discouragement in pursuing the plans God has for us. Today, Pastor Terry reminds us of Moses and the excuses he made when speaking to God. However, God empowered Moses to fulfill the tasks He had planned for him. God values our availability more than our ability. What He seeks is our willingness to be obedient rather than our greatness. Our feelings of inadequacy can lead to greater dependence on Him.
