In a protest action organized by Computer Professionals Union and AGHAM - Advocates of Science and Technology for the People, speakers from youth groups, trade union, media, and progressive partylists elaborate on the negative impacts of the proposed law, which they claim would curtail privacy rights, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and right to information, and would hamper access by ordinary Filipinos to basic social services which requires phones and/or social media accounts.

Justin Custado, a chemist from Marine Science Institute, and TJ Cipriano, a geographer formerly from the UP Resilience Institute, talk about their work and the problems Filipino STEM workers face in relation to their salary, benefits, and general welfare. The two junior scientists from UP Diliman discuss the need and struggle to form the STEM Workers Alliance with other contractual STEM workers. *STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
