Ep 84: Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water - Limp Bizkit (ft. Screeners)

Contrary to popular belief, the pairing for this episode is NOT hot dog flavored water! We had a much classier experience talking about Limp Bizkit with Screeneers because we drank Lime-A-Rita tall boys on a Monday evening. This one is zesty and chaotically charming, plus we'll do some profanity-related math. Fun!

Ep 82: A Song for You - Carpenters (ft. Xander King)

We've already done a Valentine's episode for Haters, so this week, we're feeling the love! Join us as Sarah's new brother-in-law Xander talks us through all the mushy gushy goodness of A Song for You by the Carpenters while sipping Sarah's mom's Old Fashioned recipe. (We promise you haven't had an Old Fashioned like this before unless you're from Wisconsin) We'll also put our love radars to the test and decipher the differences between contemporary Christian music and love songs. It's like an auditory romantic candlelight dinner, bon appetit. 3

Ep 80: Gist Is - Adult Jazz (ft. Daylongsigh)

It's 2024 and we're BACK baby! What better way to kick off the new year than diving into the mathy, unconventionally jazzy album Gist Is by Adult Jazz with Daylong (aka Daylongsigh). We'll talk about kooky musical choices, the strain of organized religion, and give some songs on Spotify their first ever play in our recurring segment - Descriptify!

olllliveeeeeeee ,

Superb!!

Love it! genuinely makes me laugh out loud and I enjoy every episode I listen to, whether it’s for an album I already know or one I run to listen to after listening!

Banana Dad 42069 Nice ,

This podcast made me a father!

Mmmmmm

laurparpartyofone ,

I was *literally* laughing and smiling with listening

I started with the Kim Petras TURN OFF THE LIGHT ep (an all time fav album of mine and they did it justice!). It was so fun just scrolling through and seeing the wide range of genres and albums they touch on. Plus? Everyone on this show has an extensive music vocabulary so the analysis felt equal parts well informed and a real love of music
