Aliens in the Clouds

Matt & Anna Schultz

Aliens in the Clouds is a UFO, UAP, paranormal, and unexplained phenomena podcast hosted by Matt and Anna, with Chris joining the team as our investigations, conversations, and rabbit holes continue to grow. We’re curious, skeptical, open-minded, and occasionally a little high. Yes, the “clouds” in Aliens in the Clouds are intentional. At its core, the show is about friends getting together, getting comfortable, and talking about some of the strangest mysteries on—and off—the planet. But somewhere along the way, casually wondering about UFOs turned into timelines, witness reports, military records, field investigations, maps, experiments, and increasingly large piles of research. So now we do both. We take the investigations seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. Rather than rushing through a completely different mystery every week, Aliens in the Clouds takes a case-file approach. Major investigations may unfold across multiple episodes while we examine witness accounts, photographs and video, official explanations, historical records, scientific possibilities, military activity, conflicting testimony, and the theories surrounding them. Our first major investigation, Case 001: The Phoenix Lights, is a perfect example. Instead of simply retelling the famous story, we’re digging into what happened throughout Arizona, whether multiple events became combined into one legend, how the official explanations hold up, and which questions remain unanswered nearly thirty years later. Sometimes the conventional explanation makes perfect sense. Sometimes it mostly makes sense. Sometimes it creates entirely new questions. And sometimes we end up staring at each other wondering how we got this far down the rabbit hole. Matt, Anna, and Chris bring different perspectives, personalities, and levels of skepticism to the conversation. You’ll hear genuine discussion, disagreement, wild theories, research, terrible jokes, unexpected connections, and the occasional idea that sounds ridiculous right up until somebody finds evidence that makes it slightly less ridiculous. The topics don’t stop with UFOs. We explore UAPs, alleged encounters and abductions, government investigations, paranormal phenomena, ancient mysteries, strange history, consciousness, cryptids, unusual scientific theories, and whatever else makes us ask: “Okay…but what if?” We’re also taking Aliens in the Clouds beyond the studio through field investigations, on-location research, telescope observations, interviews, experiments, and documentary-style video. New episodes are available in audio and video on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Deezer, and other major podcast platforms. And if you want to hang out with us between episodes, visit AliensInTheClouds.com. You’ll find current investigations, extra research, the Skinny Ed Report, and a link to our Discord community where listeners can chat, share theories, talk about episodes, show us weird things they’ve found, or just embrace the general chaos with us. We’re not here to convince you that every light in the sky is extraterrestrial or every strange story is true. We just think the universe is a lot more interesting when you’re willing to ask questions. Bring your skepticism. Bring your theories. Bring snacks. Question everything. Aliens in the Clouds — The truth is out there. Things get weird in here.

    The 4chan UFO Whistleblower

In April 2023, an anonymous 4chan poster described a massive underwater facility that builds UFOs for specific jobs, recycles returning craft, and moves through the Atlantic. He said he worked with recovered hardware—and that a liver cancer diagnosis had changed what he was willing to reveal. The thread became a story about machines controlled by thought, recovery teams trapped inside a craft, and technology that other departments kept behind closed doors. But how much of that story holds up? Matt follows the account into later whistleblower interviews, scientific speculation, Chinese laser research, and military infrared footage. Some connections look striking at first. Following them back to their sources makes the picture more complicated. This Aliens in the Clouds investigation explores the stranger’s story, the ideas already circulating before he posted, and the mystery of the person behind the screen. What detail convinced you—or made you question the whole account? Tell us in the comments, and subscribe or follow for more. The Pentagon Wants a Massive UFO Archive | Sunday Signal

An anonymous 4chan poster claimed that some UFOs are being constructed by an automated facility hidden beneath the ocean. Ridiculous internet lore—or a story worth keeping an eye on? In this edited edition of The Sunday Signal, Matt and Anna begin with the first Air Force UAP records transferred to the National Archives—and what those early releases suggest may still be waiting in the files. They also discuss a reportedly declassified recording connected to the 1952 Washington, D.C. UFO sightings, public distrust of government secrecy, and a reported preparedness plan for the possible confirmation of nonhuman intelligence. Then things get considerably stranger. We examine purported earlier comments from UAP witness Dylan Borland, react to worm-like objects captured with a thermal camera over Denver, confront an AI-generated disaster video designed to fool viewers, and enter the story of an anonymous 4chan poster who claimed that UFOs are being manufactured somewhere beneath the ocean. Some of it is documented. Some is disputed. Some may be complete nonsense. That’s what makes it worth talking through. This is the edited version of our September 6 Sunday Signal livestream.
