Making Friends As An Adult Is Hard. This Might Help.

Making new friends as an adult is one of those things nobody really warns you about. When we’re younger, friendship tends to happen around us. School, university, work, relationships, children, we find ourselves around the same people, and slowly, almost without noticing, some of them become friends. And then life changes. People move. Relationships end. We leave communities, outgrow places that once felt like home. And suddenly connection doesn’t happen automatically anymore. Maybe you do have people in your life, but still find yourself longing for someone you can really talk to. Someone to call. Someone who knows the person you are now. That particular ache doesn’t get named very often. This meditation tries to do that, and to make a little room for the desire itself, without rushing you toward anything. A quiet season in your life isn’t necessarily a permanent one. Sometimes we find ourselves between versions of our lives, after some connections have fallen away, and before the new ones have had time to grow. Leave the door open. Making Friends As An Adult Journal Prompts * When did friendship last feel easy and natural in your life? What was present then that feels different now? * Is there someone already in your life you’d like to know a little better, someone you’ve thought about reaching out to, but talked yourself out of? What’s actually stopping you? * What kind of friend do you want to be, and does the way you’re showing up for people right now reflect that? * Think about the connections that have mattered most to you. What did they have in common? What does that tell you about what you’re actually looking for? * The meditation asks you to think of one small opening you could create. What would that look like for you this week, something small enough to actually do? Guided Meditation for Heartbreak: Healing After a Breakup

Heartbreak can make even the most ordinary parts of life feel difficult. Eating. Sleeping. Concentrating. Getting through a day without thinking about what happened. Your mind may keep returning to the same conversations and questions while another part of you is simply exhausted by it all. This guided meditation is for that very early stage after a breakup, separation or divorce, when you don’t need someone telling you to move on, let go or look forward to your wonderful new life. You just need somewhere soft to land for a little while. There is nothing you need to work out during this meditation. You won’t be asked to stop loving someone, find meaning in what happened or imagine a new relationship. Instead, we’ll make the world smaller for a while: this breath, this moment, this day. Because sometimes healing after a breakup begins with something much simpler than moving on. Sometimes it begins with taking care of yourself while your heart catches up with everything that has changed. Meditation for Heartbreak Journal Prompts * What feels hardest about the loss right now? Not what I think should be hardest, but what actually is? * What am I missing besides the person themselves, the routines, plans, companionship, security, identity or future I imagined? * What questions am I repeatedly trying to answer that I may need to put down, just for today? * What am I expecting from myself right now that I wouldn’t expect from someone I loved who was going through the same heartbreak? * What is one small thing I can do to take care of myself today, without worrying about tomorrow? Guided Meditation for Grief & Loss

Grief doesn’t follow a timetable, and it doesn’t always look like sadness. Sometimes it arrives as exhaustion, anger or numbness. Sometimes you’re getting through the day perfectly well until a song, a place, a memory or an ordinary moment brings the loss rushing back. This gentle guided meditation is a quiet place to rest with whatever you’re carrying. You won’t be asked to let go, move on or find meaning in what happened. Instead, you’ll be guided to slow down, breathe, and make a little room for your grief without allowing it to consume you. If you’re grieving someone you love, a relationship, a friendship, a chapter of your life, or something you hoped for that never came to be, this meditation is an invitation to meet yourself exactly where you are. There is no correct way to grieve. And there is no timetable you need to follow. A Space For Grief Journal Prompts * What am I grieving right now, including the parts of this loss that other people may not see or understand? * What do I miss most, and what does that tell me about what mattered to me? * How has my grief been showing up lately, emotionally, physically or in the small moments of everyday life? * What expectations have I placed on myself about how I “should” be coping, and what would it feel like to release one of them? * What would being especially gentle with myself look like today, not forever, just today? When Nothing Seems to Be Happening

Have you ever felt like you’re doing everything you can, yet nothing seems to be changing? Life has seasons that don’t always look productive from the outside. Seasons where you’re learning, healing, waiting, or quietly becoming someone new. They can feel frustrating because there’s so little to show for them. Yet nature reminds us that the most important growth often happens beneath the surface. Roots grow long before branches reach the light. This shorter meditation is an invitation to slow down, release the pressure to have everything figured out, and trust that something meaningful may already be unfolding within you, even if you can’t see it yet. If you’d like a deeper experience, I’ve also recorded an extended 43-minute version of this meditation, with longer visualisations and a slower, more immersive journey. You can find it in the meditation library on my website or via the button below. Sometimes the quietest seasons become the ones that change us the most. When Nothing Seems to Be Happening Journal Prompts 1. Where in my life does it feel as though nothing is happening right now? How would it change my perspective if I believed something was quietly unfolding beneath the surface? 2. Looking back, can I think of a time when a period of waiting eventually made sense? What was happening within me during that season that I couldn’t see at the time? 3. If my life followed the wisdom of nature rather than my own deadlines, what season might I be in right now? Winter, spring, summer, or autumn? Why? 4. What roots might I be growing today? Think about qualities such as patience, courage, self-trust, compassion, or resilience. Which ones are quietly strengthening? 5. What is one gentle step I can take today, even if I can’t yet see the bigger picture? Remember, progress isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s simply choosing not to give up. You can also find my meditations on my Website, Insight Timer and YouTube You can sign up below and unlock everything inside La Forêt Intérieure. When Life Is Trying to Get Your Attention

What if the guidance you’ve been looking for isn’t hidden? What if it’s already finding its way to you? Many of us move through life searching for answers while overlooking the small moments that might be trying to point us in the right direction. A conversation that stays with us. A repeated message. An unexpected opportunity. A feeling we can’t quite explain. This meditation is an invitation to slow down and pay attention. Set to soothing 528 Hz music, often associated with transformation and positive energy, it will help you quiet the noise of overthinking and reconnect with a deeper sense of awareness and trust. Rather than searching for certainty, you’ll learn to become more receptive. More present. More open to the signs, synchronicities, and intuitive nudges that often appear when we stop forcing and start listening. Because guidance rarely arrives as a lightning bolt. More often, it arrives as a whisper. And this meditation helps you hear it. Receiving Signs Journal Prompts 1. What signs, coincidences, or repeated messages have I noticed recently? Write them down without dismissing them or trying to explain them away. 2. When have I experienced a moment that felt too perfectly timed to ignore? How did it affect the decision you made or the direction you took? 3. What question am I currently seeking guidance on? Instead of trying to solve it immediately, write about what it would feel like to remain open and curious. 4. How does intuition usually speak to me? Through feelings, images, ideas, physical sensations, dreams, conversations, or something else? 5. What would change if I trusted myself a little more? Where in my life am I waiting for certainty when trust might be enough for the next step? You can sign up below and unlock everything inside La Forêt Intérieure. Before the Day Begins

Before the notifications. Before the conversations. Before the demands of the day begin. This meditation is an invitation to pause and reconnect with yourself first. Too often, we wake up and immediately hand our attention to everything around us. We reach for our phones, our to-do lists, our responsibilities. Before we know it, we’re reacting rather than choosing. This gentle morning practice helps you begin differently. Through mindful breathing and quiet reflection, you’ll create a moment of stillness before the world asks anything of you. A moment to centre yourself, set an intention, and remember how you want to move through the day ahead. You don’t need to force positivity or have everything figured out. You simply need to begin from a place of presence. Because the way you start your morning often shapes everything that follows. You can also find my meditations on my website, Insight Timer and YouTube Journal Prompts - Morning Meditation 1. How do I want to feel today? Choose three words and explore what they would look like in practice. 2. What deserves my attention today, and what doesn’t? Not everything needs your energy. 3. What would it look like to move through today with intention rather than habit? Identify one area where you’d like to be more conscious. 4. What is one thing I can do today that my future self will thank me for? Keep it small and achievable. 5. What do I want to remember when the day becomes busy? Write a sentence, affirmation, or reminder you can return to throughout the day. More resources here. Message me for a free month’s trial. This is a public episode. Beltane: The Moment You Stop Waiting (432 Hz Ritual & Meditation)

This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit georgiaclare.substack.com There are moments in the year where something shifts. Not loudly. Not in a way you can always explain. But you feel it. A quiet pull forward.A sense that something in you is ready to be lived, not just thought about. Beltane is one of those moments. It marks the movement from stillness into life. From waiting, into becoming. This ritual and meditation are designed to help you connect with that shift, not as an idea, but as something you feel in your body. The meditation is paired with 432 Hz music, often associated with nature and grounding, creating a softer, more connected space to move through the experience. You don’t need to force anything here. You don’t need to figure everything out. You just need to step into it. Before you go any further, pause for a moment. Take a breath. And ask yourself, honestly: What am I ready for more of? Not what makes sense. Not what feels safe. What actually feels alive. Let the answer come without forcing it. Even if it’s quiet.Even if it’s not fully clear. That’s enough. Because this is where everything begins. If you feel ready to go deeper with this, I’ve created a guided Beltane ritual, something you can move through, not just think about. You can start with the first few minutes of the meditation above. If you want to move fully into the experience, the complete ritual includes the full 18-minute meditation (432 Hz), a printable ritual PDF download, and a simple 3-day practice to help you turn this into something real. You’ll also unlock access to my full archive of meditations and rituals. I’ve made the subscription flexible, so you can choose a price that feels right for you (starting from just $15 for a whole year).
