    Effective Animal Advocacy: Anthony Lovell

    Effective Animal Advocacy: Anthony Lovell

Nikita Dhawan from Youth for Animals talks with Anthony E. Lovell, an Endangered-Wildlife poet and founder of "The One Million Poetry”.Anthony is an Endangered-Wildlife Poet - since early 2021 - when he was persuaded to follow his passion, realising it was a return to his 10 year old self and his lifelong love of animals and nature. Finding these loved ones under existential threat on a global scale, he became a proxy voice for the endangered, using emotive poetry to draw attention - and found an audience. He founded The One Million Poetry Project in collaboration with Ingrid Lung of The Earth Agency in response to the 2019 IPBES report that identified up to 1,000,000 species were at risk of extinction from human activity. The project seeks to collaborate with other artists, conservation organisations and corporations in support of sharing the earth with all species, recognition of other species (Great Apes, Cetaceans, and Elephants to start with), and the promotion of a ‘Sanctuary Earth’ world view.‘ONEUnitaryCommon bondShared boundaryEarth, one matrix of LifeAs far as we yet know’
