Informed, Engaging, Empowering

This is a smart, well-produced show with great guests and engaging interviews. The host comes at all her conversations with compassion for all sentient beings but keeps the focus on non-human animals and concerns for them.
There’s so much amazing information being shared on this show; it’s hard to listen and not take notes! Plus, it’s a small thing but I love how the show notes include key takeaways for each episode.

Good but let them speak

I’m new to being a vegetarian and have vegan goals. These vegan podcasts keep me focused and inspired. I enjoy this podcast and think the content is great. However, the host interrupts the guests far too much. And it’s not necessary to say “yeah” and “mmm hmm” during the conversation or when a guest is speaking in order for them to know your listening. It’s incredibly distracting and ruins the flow of the story or conversation. Please take a moment to listen back to your show and recognize this unfortunate habit that makes listening not so pleasant. I appreciate your being receptive to this feedback.

Engaging & Funny

I decided to tune in to an animal podcast after watching the opening sequence to the documentary Unity. It was the first time I saw it from the cow's perspective, and it saddened me. I'm happy I discovered Kathy's podcast because she is such an engaging a storyteller of such a critical topic. She is well thought out and has helped me develop my new perspective. Thank YOU, Kathy!
