The judgemental side of me often struggles to learn or have an open mind when it comes to some LDS media. I cringe at cliches and when I sense inauthenticity. This podcast is like finding fresh air during an inversion. She raises questions that people actually have but often don’t talk about. I like the feeling of sincerity in each of these conversations as people share bits of their very personal spiritual journey and it’s nice to see that the experiences are diverse, sometimes hard but always inspiring. Keep em’ coming!
Uplifting but disappointed in guest choices
I love that there’s an uplifting podcast for single adults in the church - but I have to admit I was really bothered when the first several guests in a row were all married, and a lot of their experiences came from marriage and family and not just on their own. I wanted to follow this podcast to hear about the real struggles and triumphs of single adults, NOT MARRIED PEOPLE.
All Good Things is a really good podcast. Melissa asks great questions of her guests and really brings out some great discussions.
If you are a millennial looking for inspiration in this world then check out All Good Things.
You'll be opened up to guests with uplifting stories and may just find the direction you seek.
