ALL THINGS DVN

ERICKA DONTELLO

Before there is guidance, there is observation. ALL THINGS DVN is the Colloquium of the Atelier, where observations become conversation and conversation becomes a deeper study of the human experience. Here, psychology, neuroawareness, philosophy, spirituality, somatic intelligence, symbolism, and lived experience are examined together, not as separate disciplines, but as different ways of seeing the same whole. Guided by Ericka Dontello, founder of DVN THEREPE™, medical intuitive, neuro somatic practitioner, and soul alchemist, each episode explores the architecture beneath what can already be seen. Some conversations begin with the body. Others begin with memory, belief, culture, grief, language, relationships, or faith. Some begin with a single observation that slowly unfolds into something much larger. Regardless of where the conversation begins, every episode asks the same question: What exists beneath what is already visible? This is not a podcast built around quick answers or simple conclusions. It is an ongoing study of the visible and invisible forces that shape the human experience, inviting thoughtful inquiry into the patterns beneath identity, behavior, suffering, meaning, and the ways we move through the world. Through reflections, essays, interviews, and conversations, the Colloquium examines what is often overlooked, revealing that what appears on the surface is rarely the whole story. If the Atelier is where the work is created, the Colloquium is where the work is examined together. Thank you for taking a seat at the table. Where the depths hold the root, and the root reveals the truth.

AN INTRODUCTION TO THE ALKYMĒ™ CODEX

What if the exhaustion you cannot explain has nothing to do with how hard you are working and everything to do with what you have been positioned to carry? In this episode of The Codex, Ericka Dontello introduces the ALKYMĒ™ CODEX — an original clinical framework built at the intersection of holistic psychology, neurosomatic practice, and the labor systems that shape human identity. This is not a personality typing system. It does not tell you who you are. What it does is give you a language for understanding the function a system has relied on you to perform — often without your awareness, almost always without acknowledgment, and consistently without anyone accounting for what it actually cost you. In this episode: — The difference between who you are and what you have been positioned to do — The nine roles of the ALKYMĒ™ CODEX and the four labor families they belong to — The three expressions of every role: Grounded, Fixed, and Saturated — Function Collapse, Labor Collapse, and System Imposition — and what happens when a person becomes the entire system — A personal disclosure from Ericka on what it looks like to live inside collapse and not be able to see it The question this work asks is not what is wrong with you. It is: what role are you being relied on to carry here, and what happens when you stop? The ALKYMĒ™ CODEX book drops in May. ADVOCATING FOR YOURSELF IN MEDICAL SPACES

In this episode, I share a deeply personal experience that changed the way I understand advocacy, consent, and care inside medical spaces. What began as a routine dental visit turned into a moment where my body was signaling distress and my voice was repeatedly dismissed, forcing me to confront how often patients are expected to endure pain rather than be listened to. This conversation is not about fear mongering or blame, it's about recognizing when something is wrong, honoring your body’s signals, and understanding that speaking up is not disrespectful, dramatic, or difficult. It is necessary. We explore what it means to advocate for yourself when you are vulnerable, anxious, or afraid, and how power dynamics in medical settings can silence people, especially women and especially Black and brown women. I talk about the difference between rushed care and attentive care, why pain is information, and how walking away can sometimes be the most protective decision you make. This episode is for anyone who has ever left a medical appointment feeling unseen, unheard, or unsettled, and needs reassurance that trusting yourself is not only allowed, it is wise. .69 CENTS

This episode begins with a number, but it quickly becomes something else entirely. .69 cents is not a story about money, and it is not a story about lack. It is a story about the moment a pattern reveals itself fully, when giving without awareness reaches its end, and when a role you have been living inside of no longer has permission to continue. In this episode, I walk through the deeper architecture of transactional attachment, the invisible ledger many of us never realize we are part of, and the quiet shock that comes when reciprocity does not arrive. We talk about how transactional attachment forms when love, belonging, safety, or spiritual worth become tied to what you give, how much you carry, or how reliably you show up, and how those dynamics embed themselves so deeply that they feel normal until the moment they don’t. I introduce DVN THEREPE’s numerology system, The Ledger, as a way of naming these unseen exchanges, not as symbolism but as structure. I go deeper into the meaning of the numbers 6, 9, and 69, and how they map onto relational labor rather than abstraction. We explore 6 as the role of care, responsibility, and giving, 9 as completion and consequence, and 69 as the loop where giving and receiving are meant to circulate, revealing what happens when that loop becomes one sided and keeps running long after it should have ended. This episode looks closely at what it means to be related to for what you provide rather than who you are, how transactional attachment lives inside families, faith communities, friendships, and long term relationships, and why some endings don’t come with conflict or rupture, but instead arrive as a quiet internal knowing that something no longer has authority over you. This is a conversation about thresholds, about the moment before release, and about what changes internally when a pattern you have tolerated for a long time finally stops making sense to your body, your mind, and your sense of self. If you have ever reached a point where you knew, without drama or collapse, that you were finished giving something that cost too much, this episode is for you.
