I’m an underground old schooler Been listening since the first episode My brother and were slinging bold cardboard and Alice block back in 2014 then I discovered MG blog and bought back in to most of the cards 2016 So far outside we’re outside community since we haven’t had the bandwidth to be part of the community but like you I have enough cards to build a variety of decks usually 5-8 at a time just to jam games. Love the cast hope to meet you in the future

Since learning about the format in 2018, I’ve been on the constant search for content. While not perfect, this podcast checks all the boxes that matter whether you are on a commute or fighting through a hangover. Along with old school, the discussions about cubing and premodern really tie the room together.

Every episode makes me want to run through a wall!

I was linked to Bryan’s old school report from eternal weekend a few months back and it really brought back so many great memories from the mid-late 90’s when I took the game seriously. The trips, the stories, the car rides, the hotel rooms, CCR... and the list goes on. Started getting the itch to play again and I don’t think I could attempt standard, but old school is something I could do. The community seems like exactly what I would want to be a part of as someone in their late 30’s with work/family commitments. This podcast and the old school reports got me bringing out the old cards again. Need to grab a few staples, but it feels like a new game again, just like when I started in 96. Keep up the good work. Really looking forward to more episodes.

I thought this was going to be a podcast talking about Jamaican lifestyles. Boy was I wrong!
