    Remembering Sam Neill: Dinosaur Cryptid Mashup

    In remembrance of Sam Neill, the actor who played Dr. Alan Grant in Spielberg's 1993 masterpiece Jurassic Park, I have gone ahead and mashed together two of my favorite dinosaur cryptid episodes. These episode includes a wide range of dinosaur encounters from not only the Congo but from around the world as well. We start by recounting an incredible encounter had to Ivan T. Sanderson while cannoing down a African river to a story from the Bible, where the dragon stained by Daniel was actual a dinosaur, captured by the Babalonians during their travels across Africa. There are so many different Dino stories included in this mashup episode, you will be left asking yourself, do we live in a real life Jurassic Park?     Recast: Hunted by a Dogman While Bow Hunting

    This week we look at the' Bauman Story', which is a passage from Theodor Roosevelt's book 'The Wilderness Hunter'. He recounts hearing a story told by a trapper whose parter was killed by a mysterious animal while trapping on mountain pass in the Montana territory. The story is a very interesting one made even more interesting due to the fact that an old president of the US wrote about it. We then look at the idea of whether President Roosevelt put aside so much land to not only protect the beauty of America but the creatures that called those places home....     The Extinction Connection

    This week we play off our Real To Reel movie and ask the question: Are cryptids relic survivors of extinct animals? People believe the Loch Ness Monster is a Plesiosamur, a marine reptile that died out 65 million years ago.There stories out of the Congo of dinosaur-like crypts that should also have died out millions of years ago and many believe that Sasquatch is, or at the very least, is the direct ancestor of the Gigantopithecus, which by all accounts died out around 300 thousands years ago. But that's just a start. There are countless cryptids from all over the world that seem to be survivors of ancient animals. So are they survivors or something else?
