This podcast is ripe for the times. Finally there's a comedic pundit who can appeal to conservatives and libertarians, but isn't afraid to admit the inherent flaws in right wing politics and all sides for that matter.
Similar to Real Time with Bill Maher, the first part of the show is a hilarious monologue--no party is safe, which is a breath of fresh air. Honestly, the interview started slow but was very fascinating and gave superb insight into Iowa politics. The final 3rd of the show was a fascinating discussion and paved the way for my favorite future portion of the show. In listening to all of Jakes podcasts, I'd say in all sincerity that the meat and power of this podcast comes out in the expert panel discussion. The midpoint interviews are superb and in-depth, but the 3rd part panel discussions offer a perfect mix of political insight coupled with relevant comedy, Jake is a great political commentator that breathes life into the DC scene thought in-depth analysis and truly hilarious observational humor.
