Mississippi native and Bulldogs infielder Kamren James joined Amateur Hour to detail their historic postseason and why failure was the biggest lesson he learned last season. Virginia 5th year senior Devin Ortiz shares an inspirational story from last season and how he finally got the opportunity he's been waiting for with the Cavaliers. The 2021 MLB Draft is hours away and we wrap up our conversations with two bulldogs in the draft. RHP Sam Bachman, Miami University(OH), and Auburn RHP Richard Fitts. Both entered college with a chip on their shoulder and are leaving as high draft prospects after developing throughout their time at each respect college. We also hear from National Scouting Supervisor Brian Sakowski as he previews the 21' draft and who could go number one. College Baseball's HOF Night of Champions
The College Baseball Foundation inducted 14 new members into its Hall of Fame and this week's Episode of Amateur features interviews from award winners and inductees, along with a clip from PG College Baseball. TTU's Cal Conley earned the Brooks Wallace Award as the best shortstop in college baseball, Arkansas' Kevin Kopps earned National Collegiate Pitcher of the Year, Nebraska's Spencer Schwellenbach takes home the John Olerud two-way player of the year award and Georgia Gwinnet's HC Jeremy Sheetinger is the Skip Bertman coach of the year. Plus, we hear from Mark Marquess who lead Stanford for 41 seasons, Tennessee's two-way sensation Todd Helton, and Florida State C Matheu Nelson on PG College Baseball with Hunter Pence.
