America UnCanceled: Mercedes Schlapp & Pastor Camille Ntoto

Christians are being murdered, attacked, raped, and brutally persecuted in Africa by gangs and terrorist groups. Co-founder and visionary of Africa New Day, Pastor Camille Ntoto weighs in. Ntoto’s home country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is especially affected. Several groups, prominently one called M23, are the main actors behind the persecution, and unfortunately, the persecution is not a new development. “The M23 is one of the most prominent terrorist rebel group in eastern Congo that has taken major cities, like Goma and Bukavu, and the same kind of atrocities that we’ve deplored in the past 30 thirty years, killing people and raping women, forcing young people into the army in their rebel groups, and putting in place a climate and an atmosphere of terror, where people don’t know what’s going to happen the next day. You could be doing your business on a daily basis and next thing you know, somebody’s being abducted,” said Ntoto. The natural minerals in the region make the area valuable and are fueling much of the chaos, violence, and efforts by groups to gain control. “All these mineral resources are found in eastern Congo and many of those groups are actively trying to take over those mines, and unfortunately, in this dirty business, they are getting rid of people, killing and committing all kinds of human atrocities,” explained Ntoto. The United States is in a position to give assistance to Congo and the people there to help establish stability and end militant occupation in their cities. Ntoto urges the U.S. to step in and for Americans to pray for the innocent Congolese who are caught in the middle and losing their lives. Watch the full conversation on CPAC.org.

America UnCanceled: What Are These Drones? with Mercedes Schlapp & Tony Shaffer

Mysterious drones have been spotted over New Jersey, Maryland, and more the last two weeks, frightening citizens. The Biden administration and military remain silent on the issue and refuse to provide answers, frustrating the American public and doing nothing to ease fears. Retired Lieutenant Colonel and Department of Defense intelligence operative, Tony Shaffer weighed in on the situation on America Uncanceled with Mercedes Schlapp. “It could well be just a distraction by the Biden folks to make sure that we watch the bright shiny objects, literally, and don’t pay attention to the thousands of pardons and other things they’re doing as they go out the door,” Shaffer theorized. President Donald Trump weighed in on the issue at his press conference earlier this week with assurances that the military knows what is going, but he lambasted the Biden administration for keeping the truth from the American people. “The American people do deserve to have the truth,” said Shaffer. “They know full well what is going on, and it’s tragic but fitting that the Biden administration end it’s time in office by lying to the American people.” Congress, with bi-partisan support, is now pushing for legislation that could provide some clarity on what is going on and would empower localities to handle these kinds of situations. America UnCanceled: Mercedes Schlapp & Savannah Chrisley

Since her parents’ incarceration, Savannah Chrisley has become an advocate in the criminal justice reform sphere. She joined Mercedes Schlapp to talk about her experience as a criminal justice reform activist and the changes the criminal justice system needs. At a recent speaking engagement, Chrisley encountered denial about mass incarceration and slave labor in the prison system. Her parents’ experience in prison opened Chrisley’s eyes to the corruption and inhumane conditions of the prison system, and now, she is opening the eyes of others to the corruption in the justice system and the unfair treatment of inmates. Chrisley was particularly moved by her mother’s experience being transported, which included being chained at the ankles, stomach, and arms and heckled by male inmates, to work on legislation that will improve transport for women. Together with Brett Tolman and Right on Crime, Chrisley is working to craft and pass legislation that would ensure women are transported separately with other biological women and receive equal visitation rights as men. As she anticipates the trauma her mother has and will endure, she is also working with a doctor on a clinical trial of the lasting effects of incarceration on the brain. “Hopefully, we can come up with something that can help rehabilitate these individuals because I just know, as a Christian, you shouldn’t be nailed to the cross forever,” said Chrisley.
