In this episode of America’s Frontlines: Colonel Denny and Skip examine the growing confrontation with Iran—discussing how the regime’s nuclear ambitions and continued support for terrorism threaten global stability, and how America’s strategy of pressure, deterrence, and military strength could shape the future of the Middle East. They also break down President Trump’s Iran strategy, Congress’s role in sustaining military operations, rising tensions within NATO, and Europe’s widening divide over Israel—revealing how quickly the global balance of power may be shifting. As always, Colonel Denny delivers another round of his signature one-liners to lighten the mood along the way. Our featured guest is retired Marine General Arnold Punaro. Colonel Denny reflects on their shared experience commanding rifle platoons during Vietnam, calling it a bond that makes them brothers. General Punaro went on to continue serving in the Marine Corps Reserve while also holding key staff positions in the United States Senate, giving him a unique perspective on both military leadership and national policy. We also bring you our regular look back at military history from this point in time—because understanding the past helps us better navigate the future. In this episode of America’s Frontlines Colonel Denny and Skip explore rising tensions between the Vatican and U.S. policy—asking whether moral authority and national security are on a collision course as global conflict with Iran intensifies. They also break down a high-stakes geopolitical moment—from a U.S. naval blockade tightening pressure on Iran and disrupting China’s oil lifeline, to Cuba signaling its readiness to resist aggression, and major drug seizures at sea. It’s a wide-ranging look at the mounting pressure across today’s global security landscape. As always, Colonel Denny brings his signature humor with a few well-timed one-liners to keep things grounded. This episode features an extraordinary conversation with Drew Dix—the first enlisted Special Forces soldier to receive the Medal of Honor. After earning a battlefield commission to first lieutenant, he went on to retire as a major following a distinguished 20-year career, much of it in unconventional warfare. Following his military service, Drew continued supporting government programs and later operated an air service in Alaska. He is also the co-founder of the Center for American Values, dedicated to educating future generations on the importance of character, service, and doing what’s right for family, community, and country. Colonel Denny and Drew tackle critical topics including Iran and the evolving role of women in the military, offering perspective grounded in experience and service. We also bring you our regular military history refresher to keep you sharp. Retired Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer Roland Ashby returns with more “Warrant Wisdom,” this time examining how modern warfare continues to evolve. And in a special segment, Navy veteran Theresa Robinson sits down with Air Force veteran Theresa Ergang to share insights, experiences, and the unique perspectives of women who have served.
