America's Roundtable Conversation with Judge Henry Saad | Strengthening the Rule of Law and Protection of Property Rights in America | Affirming the U.S. Constitution | Revitalizing American Exceptionalism

America's Roundtable Conversation with Judge Henry Saad | Strengthening the Rule of Law and Protection of Property Rights in America | Affirming the U.S. Constitution | Revitalizing American Exceptionalism

Join America's Roundtable radio co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy with Judge Henry W. Saad, retired judge and former Chief Judge of the Michigan Court of Appeals. Judge Henry Saad serves as special counsel in Plunkett Cooney's Appellate Law Practice Group.

In 1994, former Gov. John Engler appointed Saad to the Michigan Court of Appeals, a role he held for 23 years, including a term as Chief Judge of the Michigan Court of Appeals. During his tenure, Judge Saad served on the Governor's Task Force for Abused Children, and he also served as the Chair of the appellate court's Education Committee.

Judge Saad was nominated to the federal district court by President George H.W. Bush and to the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit Court by President George W. Bush. Judge Saad retired from the appellate court in 2017.

Our conversation brings to the forefront how American citizens are rejecting the current transformation of our republic. There is a growing sense and urgency to return to the principles that have made this nation so exceptional.

The discussion also addresses the noticeable erosion of the rule of law, the concerns of a two-tiered justice system, the significance of upholding the U.S. Constitution and restoring equal justice under law.

Judge Henry Saad presents principled ideas and conveys steps that will encourage, challenge, and inspire listeners to be a part of movement in revitalizing American exceptionalism.

    — The hard data behind the breakdown of the family and its effects on our society, including poverty, crime, and deteriorating education.

    — The core biblical beliefs that led our nation into unprecedented freedom and prosperity--and why abandoning those beliefs led to the social decline we see today.

    — The fresh ideas and public policy options that could reverse negative trends impacting the family while maintaining a balance between constitutional freedoms and governmental involvement.

The American Cornerstone Institute (ACI) was founded by world-renowned neurosurgeon and 17th Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Ben Carson. After serving our nation and the American people faithfully for four years, Dr. Carson is ensuring there is an organization fighting for the principles that have guided him through life, and that make this country great: Faith, Liberty, Community, and Life. Dr. Carson has proven through his example and policy making that solutions guided by the principles of faith, liberty, community, and life are effective, and will point our nation toward the common good. Throughout his life, Dr. Carson has broken through barriers and has paved major roads in our political arena, both in Washington, D.C. and in communities across the country, and he’s not stopping now. A champion for logic and common sense solutions, Dr. Carson will always stay true to his principles and his faith, which guide ACI through this volatile time in our nation.

America's Roundtable with Chris Mitchell: Biden's Policy Reversal—Future of US-Israel Ties | The Promise of The Abraham Accords

America's Roundtable with Chris Mitchell: Biden's Policy Reversal—Future of US-Israel Ties | The Promise of The Abraham Accords

This weekend on America's Roundtable, co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy will be joined by Chris Mitchell, CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief and author of compelling books including "ISIS, Iran and Israel: What You Need to Know about the Current Mideast Crisis and the Coming Mideast War."

Chris Mitchell covered the historic decision by President Trump to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, and saw the opening of Saudi Arabia to the world. In 2011, CBN News began the award-winning program, Jerusalem Dateline, hosted by Chris Mitchell and translated into multiple languages.

Chris Mitchell first began reporting on the Middle East in the mid-1990s. Chris repeatedly traveled there to report on the religious and political issues facing Israel and the surrounding Arab states.

Chris moved to Jerusalem in August 2000 to establish the CBN News Bureau. During the ensuing years, Chris and the staff have been able to cover firsthand how Jerusalem and the Middle East comprise the epicenter for world-shaking events. In 2005, CBN News covered the wrenching Israeli pullout from the Gaza Strip as thousands of Israelis were evicted. The following year, CBN Founder Pat Robertson joined Chris Mitchell and the crew on the front lines of the 2006 second Lebanon war.

When the Arab Spring erupted in 2011, CBN News sped to Tahrir Square in Cairo where thousands gathered to protest the government of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Through Chris Mitchell's leadership, CBN News covered the rise of ISIS and its reign of terror, from the bombed-out city of Sinjar to the mass grave of Yazidis. The CBN News team saw the ruins of the Islamic State after its demise in the city of Mosul. The television news crew spent time with the Kurdish Peshmerga, the brave men and women spearheading the battle against ISIS and they met face-to-face with persecuted Christians and told the world about the awful rise of Christian persecution throughout the Middle East.

A native of the Boston area, Chris earned a B.A. in History at the University of New Hampshire in 1975. In 1987, he graduated with honors from Regent University, earning an M.A. in Communication.
