This episode's ad is for Dwale, a pretty common medieval anaesthetic that may have killed many.

In this month's episode, I talk about a town that lost all its children as a result of not paying a freelance tradesman, and also their own negligence. I explore theories on the real life events behind the Pied Piper tale, and go over the process of hearing in an attempt to discover why children can hear pitches of sound that adults can't. The ad is for jars to store your farts in, which is a 17th century cure for the plague.
