Sharky Simone ,

Ryan Brod Podcast was Excellent!

This episode was so powerful for me personally. He spoke to the passion of connecting with Nature and choosing that over profit. That's been my life story as a writer and holistic fly fishing guide. I resonated deeply with his life story and it helped me take a deep look at my own trajectory. April talked about her passion for connection with fish/animals...Nature. Just such a good discussion between them that went far beyond the surface. Absolutely wonderful and much-appreciated!

Excellent interviews

April is an excellent interviewer —. Interviews that might otherwise lack luster, are polished by her skill. She occasionally interjects her own experience but it never becomes about her. Rather, it always remains about the person being interviewed.

First hand experience

We took fly fishing lessons from her about 10 years ago. We had fly fished for years but not with the 2 handed rod & we wanted to get exposed to it. She was giving a small clinic on a river & my husband & I were part of the group. We found her to be more interested in the other instructors then the students and she was very impatient & gave short curt corrections. We were not impressed at all. Hopefully she’s better at interviewing than instructing.
