They say the past is the key to today, yet the stories of the past remain something of a mystery. So in an attempt to understand who were are and how we got here, today, I will be taking you on a journey through time to tell the stories of our past And Finally unlock the path through the present.

  1. Épisode 1

    Anne Boleyn

    The temptress? The one with the plan, the plan to steal the man? The one who chased the king but paid the price with a swordsmans swing? That might be what you have been told by history, but by taking a deeper look in to the life of Anne Boleyn we find that the second wife of Henry VIII wasn't what she was made out to be. So why not join me to hear the story of one of England's and Histories most influential women.

    Martin Luther King

    In these times of change it is good to look back at where such things started. In the case of the current world climate and the issues of oppression we still fight against today one of the great hero's that comes to mind is Martin Luther King. A man who could move a nation with words alone and a role model to all who call themselves a human. If the past is in fact the key to the present, then his story is sure to lead us towards a brighter tomorrow.

    Genghis Khan

    History is full of villains, but even they have their own stories to be told. With the bad there always comes some good, but not enough to erase a blood soaked reign to the extent of the infamous Genghis Khan. This week I take a look into the limited information we have on his personal life and perhaps make a great tyrant, more human in the end.

    Vietnam War

    Not many talk about this brutal war, and it's easy to understand why. A war full of great tragedy and unspeakable acts, this war stands at the height of shame for America. But just ignoring it serves no good. We learn from our past, so why ignore it even if it is a particular bloody one. This is why I am here to shed some light on the atrocities of the Vietnam War, but so that we can learn from the mistakes made all those years ago.

    Guy Fawkes

    We all know that we have to remember, remember the 5th of November but does anyone remember the life of the man at the centre of it? Guy Fawkes, hero or villain? That is s tough question with no real answer, but as we look at his life we can begin to understand the man who was willing to commit high treason for his faith.

  6. Épisode 6

    World War 1

    Pointless is a word associated with most wars, but maybe none more than The Great War; more commonly known as World War 1. 4 years of loss and tragedy, with no end in sight until one side yielded it was a tragedy like the world had never seen before. I therefore go through the details of the conflict this week, and take moments to reflect on the sombre topic at hand.

    The Tower of London

    London is a city full of history and heritage, but no building symbolises this more than the Great Tower itself; better known as The Tower of London. From timber castle, to fortress, to prison, to zoo the Tower has done it all. It has housed and been the place of death for many historic figures. So why not sit down and enjoy a special hour long episode of And Finally and enjoy nearly 2000 years of history in on go.

  8. Épisode 8

    Ragnarok

    The apocalypse, something yet to happen but equally something that all agree will happen. Well which of these stories is the best? I can't say for certain but my favourite comes from the old Norse, and that story is Ragnarok. So why not sit down as I explain how the Norse thought the would meet its end.
