Easily the best show. Less morose than more traditional writers but with actual intelligence behind takes that puts it above louder more kitschy rivals. Plus actually fun.

They finally they got to Ari and Andy. The powers that be are pushing this narrative of both Ole Miss and Bama should still be part of the CFP and these two are doing mental gymnastics to explain their logic.

I used to find Ari’s takes intolerable, but then the athletic replaced him with Damien Harris and I realised I didn’t actually know what bad podcasting was. He’s still wrong about most of his takes, but I begrudgingly enjoy his content now.

I’m glad Ari is back with Andy, but the show is not the same as it used to be when they were together on The Athletic. There are so many ads, the PrizePick segments, the gambling tangents, (and even doing game previews and picks on Mondays feels weird. On Mondays I’m still processing the past weekend of games, not thinking about the upcoming slate) that the shows don’t have a great flow. It feels clunky. Even the episode titles are overly dramatic, tiresome, and read like the tabloids (you’re not gonna BELIEVE what Marcus Freeman SAID!)
