How a Narcissist Plays Victim When You React to Their Treatment
How a Narcissist Plays Victim When You React to Their Treatment - Have you ever seen a narcissist flip the script and appear to be the victim, but in reality, the narcissist is the one causing all of the issues?
Nobody wants to be told anything they are doing is wrong, even more so if that criticism is from someone you care about. Narcissists may use this victim reaction towards you as a manipulative tool and approach it in one of two ways—as the innocent, victimized party or as the accuser who is merely trying to cause trouble for the narcissist.
You're reacting to their toxic behavior, but from the outside, it looks like you're the problem. It looks like a classic case of narcissist victim-blaming. It takes some knowledge to realize that the narcissist is using projection in order to avoid responsibility for their own behavior.

Narcissists
After 62 years of marriage I finally understand that I’ve been living with narcissist.and I am the typical enabler. So enlightening. I hope to speak up and take care of myself. My mother was also a narcissist and threatened to die if she got upset and it would be my fault
Thank you
“Going no contact with a Narcissist”
So impressed with this podcast. It was my first episode but surely not my last. So much to learn and discover. Thank you Angie!
Great insight EXCEPT time limits given for grieving
“Take 4 weeks tops to grieve if the relationship was 25 years” WHAT!?? I wish I had that super power! I already punish myself enough for crying over my divorce I don’t need to be judged by a podcast lady. Otherwise a helpful podcast.
