Parenting in a Technological Age - Part 1

WARNING: This week's episode, while not explicit, deals with mature subject matter. Listener discretion is advised.
Technology is everywhere, and we are more connected than every before. With that kind of ubiquitous connection comes risks and dangers, especially for our children. How do we parent so that our children are protected while learning to navigate the online world with wisdom? This week, Andy kicks off a three-part interview with Alisha Stobbe, a Marriage & Family Therapist.

    Two Tales of One City

    Two Tales of One City

Christians are sojourners. You may have heard that phrase before. We are first and foremost citizens of heaven. At the same time, we find ourselves living in a wider culture as part of it. How are we to live in that tension? And are we in the best of times or the worst of times? How we answer these questions will impact the way we engage the culture in which we find ourselves. This week, we hear from Dr. Andrew Grosso as he attempts a thoughtful answer to these questions.

The Chosen: An Interview with Jonathan Roumie

The Chosen: An Interview with Jonathan Roumie

If Andy had a chance to interview Jesus, would you be interested in listening in? Well, he didn't exactly interview THE Jesus, but he had the wonderful opportunity to interview Jonathan Roumie who plays the role of Jesus in The Chosen. This hit miniseries portrays the life of Christ and his disciples. Just what goes through the mind of someone who has to play the role of the most influential figure in all of human history? Tune in today to find out.

Do Christians and Muslims Worship the Same God?

Do Christians and Muslims Worship the Same God?

Are Christianity and Islam sister religions? Because of their many similarities, many think so. After all, both religions proclaim one God, both religions have their Scriptures, and both religions trace back to Abraham. Does that mean we worship the same God? And why should we even care about this question? Wesley returns in this week's episode of AC Podcast with an interview he did with Dr. Andy Bannister on his upcoming book, Do Christians and Muslims Worship the Same God.

    Are Vaccines Ethical?

    Are Vaccines Ethical?

There is a heated controversy in some circles over the ethics of using vaccines. The reason? Some vaccines contain fetal cells. For many people, this raises enough ethical problems that they refuse to use the vaccines themselves or have their children vaccinated. What might be a Christian view of it? Andy and Steve take a jab at this topic in this week's edition of AC Podcast.

Critical Theory: Is It Compatible with Christianity?

Critical Theory: Is It Compatible with Christianity?

Have you heard of Critical Theory? If you don't recognize it by that name, perhaps you will recognize it by the terms associated with it, such as white privilege, intersectionality, oppression, etc. Critical Theory is gaining more and more momentum in our culture, and it's becoming ever more popular among Christians. What is Critical Theory (or Theories)? What are its premises? Is the theory as a whole compatible with Christianity? Steve returns this week with an interview he had with Dr. Neil Shenvi.

Super helpful and approachable conversation

I can’t recommend more! I ran across AC by accident on the podcasts app, but I’m so glad I did. This podcast covers so many fascinating ethical issues that very few Christians touch. I’ve always been a thinker, and I deeply appreciate hearing others grounded Christians approach relevant topics from an intellectually honest and rigorous perspective.

Great laid back discussion

In this podcast, the hosts (who have higher education training in apologetics and love Jesus) discuss and wrestle with apologetics and the issues of our day in conversation.

Closet Agnostic?

Hi. I’m a 21 year old college student and I recently experienced faith-identity crisis. It’s so encouraging to listen to a podcast that not only provokes thought but also is spoken by people who have been in my shoes. Thank you so much for this ministry. It makes me not feel so lonely during this time.
