Whoopi Goldberg, Keke Palmer & The Conversations We're Having | Argh U Mad

Whoopi Goldberg, Keke Palmer, Claressa Shields, Amanda Seales, Tasha K, ChatGPT privacy and the Gorilla Glue Lady?! Yeah… we had a LOT to talk about. 👀 For this episode of Argh U Mad, I took the podcast outside and shared my thoughts on some of the conversations making noise across entertainment, celebrity culture, relationships, media and technology. First, I'm talking about Whoopi Goldberg's appearance on Keke Palmer's podcast, "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer." I share what stood out to me from their conversation, including Whoopi's thoughts on creating what you need, women moving forward, trailblazing, storytelling and why we have to continue telling our own stories. Then we get into Claressa Shields, Papoose and Remy Ma, including Claressa's response after being questioned about dating a married man. I share my perspective on accountability, public figures and why I don't believe every situation needs a clapback. Next up: Amanda Seales and Tasha K. After watching their interview and hearing the conversation surrounding it, I explain why I actually appreciated the connection between the two women—but why Amanda's reaction afterward left me disappointed. And then it's time for Mad Tech 🤖. We're talking about ChatGPT privacy, sharing AI conversations, and the things we should consider before putting personal information into AI tools or publicly sharing our chats. And because apparently we weren't done yet… we're also talking about the Gorilla Glue Lady and Tasha K, including the apology that came out of that conversation. This is Argh U Mad — commentary, culture, conversations and mindful perspectives from a Black woman's point of view. So tell me: Which conversation would you have handled differently? 🎙️ Listen, share, subscribe and join the conversation. Argh U Mad? ⚠️ This podcast reflects personal commentary and opinions for discussion and entertainment purposes. It is not professional mental health, legal, financial, or technology advice. #WhoopiGoldberg #KekePalmer #ClaressaShields #AmandaSeales #TashaK #ChatGPT #AIPRivacy

Usher Got Rejected, Ye's Concert Numbers & LeBron to Philly | Mad News

Usher got rejected. Ye's concert numbers sparked conversation. Student loan forgiveness had everybody asking questions. Dick Gregory caught my attention. And LeBron James is bringing the memes to Philadelphia. 😂 Welcome back to Argh U Mad, where we look at the headlines through a different lens—because the story is one thing, but the perspective is everything. In this episode, I'm talking about the conversations making their way through entertainment, pop culture, sports, and everyday life, including: 🎤 Usher getting rejected onstage — and what that moment says about the changing relationship between celebrities and their audiences. 💰 Ye's concert numbers — including a correction to information I initially shared in this episode. Consider this your reminder that sometimes the conversation continues after the recording. 🎓 Student loan forgiveness — because when everyone is celebrating, I still want to know what the latest developments actually mean. 🎬 Dick Gregory — exploring the comedian, activist, and thinker whose work has recently had me paying closer attention. 🏀 LeBron James and Philadelphia — plus the internet doing what the internet does best with the memes. This isn't about telling you what to think. It's about giving you something to think about. 🎧 Listen, subscribe, and leave a review wherever you get your podcasts. ▶️ Watching on YouTube? No Shortcuts to Heaven Black Women, Self-Love & Protecting Your Peace

No studio. No traditional setup. Just the ocean, my journal, and a moment of mindfulness. In this beachside episode of the Argh U Mad Podcast, I reflect on a simple reminder: there are no shortcuts to heaven. From relationships, marriage, and protecting yourself as a woman to self-reflection and recognizing when life keeps telling you, "Stop it," this conversation moves wherever the spirit leads. I share my thoughts on 50 Cent's documentary recognition, Tasha K's perspective on marriage and womanhood, and why our icons—including Brandy—deserve the space to be human. Then, the conversation turns to Black women, dark skin, natural hair, and my nearly 12-year loc journey. There is beauty in the stages. There is beauty in starting from the bottom. And there is power in refusing to let outside noise trick you out of your position. To my Black women: never forget that you are beautiful the way God created you. ⚠️ A quick audio note: this episode was recorded live on the beach. My streaming service used my phone microphone instead of my plugged-in mic, so you will hear wind and natural beach sounds throughout the recording. The conversation is still audible, and I hope the ocean adds something special to this moment. Welcome to Thoughtful Thursday. 🌊 Where in your life are you trying to skip the process? Drop it in the comments and join the conversation. Then share this episode with a Black woman who needs the reminder: there are no shortcuts to heaven, and there is beauty in every stage of becoming. 🎧 Watch or listen to the full episode of the Argh U Mad Podcast. 🛍️ Support the movement and explore more at arghumad.com. The Last African Nation Standing | Ghana vs. Colombia | FIFA World Cup 2026 Reaction This wasn't just another football match. As the final African nation remaining in the FIFA World Cup, Ghana carried the hopes of millions across the continent and throughout the diaspora. In this live reaction, I take you through the emotional final 30 minutes as the Black Stars fought to keep their World Cup journey alive against Colombia. From discussing the time difference and what it may have meant for Ghana's performance, to reacting to Colombia's relentless pressure, key substitutions, and the disallowed second goal that kept hope alive just a little longer, this episode captures the highs, lows, and raw emotions of supporting your team when everything is on the line. We also reflect on: What Ghana did well throughout the tournament. Colombia's disciplined performance and why they deserved credit. The pride of seeing African nations compete on the world's biggest stage. Why representation across the African diaspora continues to matter—even in football. Whether this marks the end of my World Cup watch parties now that every African nation has been eliminated. Even in defeat, the Black Stars gave supporters moments to believe, and that's worth acknowledging. Thank you to everyone who joined me live throughout this World Cup journey.
