    Summary We often think authority is about climbing the ladder. But in the Kingdom of God, authority is about kneeling with a towel. Jesus showed us this when He washed His disciples' feet, using the authority in His hands to serve. In God's kingdom, authority is also protection that shields, absorbing pressure rather than passing it down. Just as Jesus stood in the gap for His disciples, we too are called to stand tall, not to elevate ourselves but to stabilize and support those around us.
