    Arkham Avengers FFPL E16 (S04) - Gameweek 17 revisited & Gameweek 18, 19, 20, 21 & 22 Reviews

    Send a text After a totally unexpected extended absence The Host and Eamon are back and ready to get stuck into football business. Due to the match between Bournemouth and Luton having been abandoned, the lads are revisting the league table for Gameweek 17. Then it is time to take a look at who is moving up, down and who is staying put as The Host and Eamon do a countdown for each Gameweek. What about Captain Fantastical Mick I hear you ask? Oh yes.  There are developments on this front as we hear that he is doing some pundit work for another communication company much to the chagrin of Eamon.   And are you wondering why we have not mentioned Hector?  Our dear auld Hector is on his way back from Brazil and shall be back in the studio for the next episode.     Arkham Avengers FFPL E15 (S04) - Gameweek 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17 Reviews

    Send a text Just when you thought is was safe to tune out.......we're back!! After a delayed break The Host and Eamon are back and it is time to catch up on what our Managers have been doing throughout Gameweeks 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17. Don't worry though the lads are not going to conduct an in-depth review into the Gameweeks but more a........how would we describe it.........a helicopter or umbrella overview. NOTE:   At the time of recording the Premier League Board had not made a decision on the AFC Bournemouth vs Luton fixture which had to be abandoned due to the on-field medical emergency involving Luton Town player Tom Lockyer.  The decision has now been made to replay the match at a future date and points achieved by players in the original Gameweek 17 match will be voided.  The Panel will re-visit Gameweek 17 in our next show and made necessary corrections in relation to Managers and the League Table. Hector has returned to Brazil for the Christmas and New Year while Captain Fantastical Mick is busy doing some pundit work on Virgin Media and The Host is waiting to hear about his return to the show.  However, this doesn't hold Eamon back as he casts an eye over our managers. While Hector is away the "Hector's Hello's" are paused but on this episode Eamon has a few birthday shoutouts coming our way.     Arkham Avengers FFPL E14 (S04) - Gameweek 12 Review

    Send a text Now that the boys survived Halloween and Dublin its back to the usual business of reviewing how the managers in the Arkham Avengers Fantasy Football Premier League are getting on. The Host is joined by Hector and Eamon this week and the lads are discussing each manager in turn.  There's been a lot of movement on the league table this week and a few surprises in store. This week's show also see the Recitation Man return and he has a little tale about Ned McCann, his wife Mary-Ann, a calf and a chainsaw.   Be sure to tune in for this.     Arkham Avengers FFPL E13 (S04) - Halloween, Dublin and Gameweek 10 & 11 Reviews

    Send a text Eamon and Hector return after going AWOL last week with Halloween and a trip to Dublin to see Michael McIntyre.  The Host puts them under the spotlight to find out what went on. We hear about the eventful Halloween night Hector and Eamon had which saw them being chased by some unknown person wielding a chainsaw.  We then turn our attention to the Dublin trip which turned out to be a stressful affair for Damo as he attempted to get the lads over to the 3Arena in time for Michael McIntyre's show. Of course, we have football and on this weeks episode we have a double bumper with The Panel taking a look at Gameweek 10 and 11.  There's a few surprises in store and a few managers on the move so you should tune in for this.     Arkham Avengers FFPL E12 (S04) - Gameweek 9 Review The Managers Strike Back!

    Send a text Pow!  Wham! Kapow! Having listened to The Panel harping on for the last number of weeks, the managers have struck back with plenty of movement in the league table for Gameweek 9!!! Hold onto your ear pods, headphones and your seat as we find out who is on the way up and whose time has run out as they drop further and further down the rankings. The Host has Eamon and Hector in this week and they are on form as they talk us through each manager's tactic and Captain selection.  Meanwhile Captain Fantastical Mick is off playing a round of golf - well for some you might say! Hector follows up with Eamon about "Lanigan's Ball" as he's a bit confused over this and Eamon sets to put the record - no pun intended - straight.  The Host even chips in with a little Christy Moore to help Hector to understand.     Arkham Avengers FFPL E10 (S04) - Gameweek 7 Review A Case of Manager Woes

    Send a text As my mother said, to get things done you'd better not mess with that Major Tom. There is no messing about on this week's episode for we have a full house as The Host, Eamon, Hector and Captain Fantastical Mick are diving into the now calm waters of Gameweek 7. At one point, Hector has us nearly believing that Captain Fantastical Mick is a farmer but that's soon put to bed and The Host steers us into more familiar territory where the lads review the performance of our managers.  There's not a lot of change with the league table this week but there are some important highlights especially for those managers placed below tenth position.   Indeed Flores Rovers comes in for some fire and there's a lot of talk about an "Exit Strategy" for this manager with a "3 Strikes" rule brought in during a somewhat heated discussion. We are still waiting on Eamon to tackle.  You just cannot get good panelists these days. "Hector's Hello's" returns once again as we get a glimpse into where in the world our little podcast is being picked up.     Arkham Avengers FFPL E09 (S04) - Gameweek 6 Review

    Send a text And here we are listeners taking a look at how our managers navigated their way through Gameweek 6. As you know by now, The Panel take a look at how our managers in the Arkham Avengers FFPL coped in their bid to be the number one manager of the league for 2023/24.  However, it isn't all plain sailing.  No, no, our managers have to pit their wits against other managers in the league. In our review of Gameweek 6, we take a look to see who made good transfer moves, who might have played a Chip or a Wildcard and who should have done something with with their team but didn't!!  Oh yes, we have a few turkeys in the league and it's not even near Christmas yet! Eamon and Hector are present , willing and able to do the reviews and The Host is here in studio to keep them in check.  Captain Fantastical Mick is still out of action after his visit to the dentist but we do wish him well. Hector has packed up the putter for his Crazy Golf as we settle into a more "football focused" show this week. Eamon lets us know what's happening with "Eamon Tackles" and it wouldn't be a show without "Hector's Hello's" so tune in to hear who Hector is giving a shoutout to.
