It's been 10 months since our last epidsode and a lot has been going on behind the scenes. We share some updates and some favorite art we saw this summer (go 3 our IG posts in New Orleans and D.C.). Rachel got to talk with Dan Lam about blobby, spikey, magic mounds and drips, and then Ryan went Expanding Brain for a bit on capitalism, activisim, and art production. We've missed you, fam.

    We Live In A Multiverse

It's 2018! Are you happy? Are you sad? Either way, you're probably exhausted.

This episode we leave our universe to talk about Lance Lestcher's Parallel Universe show at Conduit Gallery, Rachel hangs out with and learns about mythology, astral projection, and play in work.

Be sure to check our sponsors, they'll appreciate your love.

Lots of our friends are doing great things this season, like Tierra Firme at the Latino Cultural Center. Support the community project, For Oak Cliff and when you see a sad, little house in Oak Cliff, check out the postcards inside.

It's great

It's fabulous and funky! Love having a place to hear visual art discussed! Thank you 💗

Off to a very promising start.

Art Funk shows a great deal of promise. I’m an artist who is part of the Dallas art scene and I find Rachel and Ryan’s relaxed but informed chats interesting and reminiscent of discussions I had with my peers in art school. They’re both young artists trying to make sense of their local art world, not an easy task. I’m excited to see where they take this thing.

Ryan Rushing ,

Art is literally the best.

Why is iTunes letting me review my own podcast? WHATEVER, I DO WHAT I WANT ITUNES. I try not to toot my own horn, but in this case, I’ll say it… recording this podcast makes me feel like a literal ART SUPERMAN. I’m not even sure what that means, but I do know one thing. IF SUPERMAN was ART he and I would be of one body and mind and soul and spirit and knowledge and marksmanship.
