Absolutely love the way Daniel and Agatha present information and controversial topics. Every problem presented is coupled with some kind of solution and nuanced explanation for how it affects people. I also love the way they shine a light on other creators and scholars.

This podcast has provided me with incredible perspective on so many things. As a person who considers themselves pretty aware of personal biases, I find the point of views of the hosts to be so important to understanding how we can all interact, create, and enjoy TTRPGs. I can’t recommend this show enough!

I follow DM Steve, and this was an amazing find. With a lot of great perspectives on DnD that I haven’t heard a million times. Can’t wait to keep following.

It's super refreshing to see creators from marginalized groups creating content that reflects their experiences. Asians Represent! is doing the work of both critiquing bad representations from the past and present and highlighting creators doing good representation. The academic experience Daniel brings to the table helps frame the discussions, and the other hosts and guests all bring their own expertise. The actual play episodes and world building are fantastic examples of actual play, including use of safety tools and generally good communication about what all the players are expecting and hoping for from the game. In addition, the episodes that critique problematic content offer a bit of insight into what not to do if you're going to be writing your own gaming content. The first step in avoid the bad stereotypes and tropes is knowing what they are and recognizing them. In general, the production value of the show is pretty high, though there are episodes that are taken from live streams or were recorded remotely that may suffer a little in audio quality because of the new format. This is a fantastic show doing fantastic work. Definitely worth checking out.
