    In this episode of the Assault Forward podcast - lessons learned from the military, business, and entrepreneurship for life - we discuss how Joe and Shah are two of the co-founders of Assault Forward.  On paper, they couldn’t be much different.  One from the Midwest, raised Catholic in Illinois, with both grandfather’s who served in WWII. The other a first generation American, born and raised in New York City in a Muslim home. While they didn’t know each other on Active Duty, both would serve in combat with the US Army in Afghanistan and Iraq as Field Artillerymen.   They met after their time in uniform while using the G.I.
