    ARIES NEW MOON AS VENUS WAXES TOWARD URANUS IN TAURUS: SUDDEN CHANGE IN VALUES AROUND WAR & A BRIDGE TO PEACE? J

As of this Aries New Moon, which occurred at 4:52 a.m. PT & 7:52 a.m. ET at 27’29” Aries on April 17, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the Iranians have agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz to all traffic. That occurred as there is a huge conglomeration of planets in Aries, from the Moon, Sun, Saturn, Mercury, & Neptune—along with wounded healer & dwarf planet Eris close to both luminaries--& peace-loving Venus waxes toward its exact conjunction to Uranus in Taurus on April 23. This sudden opening of the flow of oil, gas, & commodities out of Iran comes on the heels of yesterday’s April 16 announcement of a ceasefire between Israel & Lebanon by President Trump. That was as the Sun exact conjoined Chiron in Aries, Mars in Aries sextiled Pluto in Aquarius, & Mercury in Aries conjoined Neptune in Aries. There is a cautionary tale here, however, which includes the fact that the Israeli ceasefire was announced not by its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but by Trump.  While this is obviously still good news—especially since this announcement has already spurred reports of a fast rise of the world’s financial markets—it was unclear if Trump’s announcement was his way of coercing Israel into the ceasefire by announcing it to the world before details were actually completed. As per the New York Times: “A 10-day cease-fire went into effect at midnight on Friday morning in Lebanon. The truce pauses fighting between Israeli forces and the militant group Hezbollah, removing a major obstacle to peace talks between the United States and Iran. “Israeli and Lebanese officials had confirmed they would implement the truce, which was first announced by President Trump after a diplomatic push by the U.S. government earlier in the day. Hezbollah acknowledged the cease-fire in a pair of statements on Thursday, but did not directly address whether it would accept the truce, saying its actions would be “based on how developments unfold.” It appears by now that this truce is being honored, which is the reason behind Iran’s announcement that it would open the Strait of Hormuz to all traffic, as this ceasefire was a major sticking point behind Iran’s closure of the Strait. And it’s refusal to reopen this globally important waterway. However, again according to the NY Times earlier today: “One of the main questions in Lebanon on Friday morning was if the cease-fire would hold. NNA, the state news agency, reported traffic jams on roads leading to southern Lebanon, from where many had fled because of Israeli evacuation orders and bombardment. Earlier, the Lebanese army said it had recorded several Israeli violations since the cease-fire went into effect at midnight. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment.” WILL THIS CHANGE IN VALUES LAST? The question is whether, by the time the Sun enters Venus-ruled Taurus April 19, just after Mars conjoins Saturn in Aries, this slowdown in hostilities will hold. With Mercury headed for a conjunction to both Saturn & Neptune on April 20, it’s hard to tell… The Venus/Uranus conjunction in Taurus on April 23 will occur just before the first quarter crisis in action square of the Leo Moon to the Taurus Sun that day, after which Venus enters Mercury-ruled Gemini late on the 23rd or early the 24th, depending on your time zone… And that will bring us to the Sun’s fixed square to Pluto April 25, along with Uranus’s reentrance into Mercury-ruled Gemini that day as well for the long term. So, the question by then will be whether or not softer rhetoric prevails as peaceful ceasefire negotiations between warring factions continue.  In other words, will the beginning of this Aries New Moon cycle help heal past rifts based on a new set of changed values, or will the lack of clear details sabotage future talks?  It’s well known that Mars-ruled Aries energy’s high side is motivation, ambition, & assertion. So are we birthing a new monthly lunar cycle that, in conjunction with the Sun’s movement into Venus-ruled Taurus, which craves serenity. Or will Aries low side energies rear their ugly head again before any true peace in the Middle East is achieved? One of the likely drawbacks, discussed at length in this week’s podcast, concerns the fact that this Aries New Moon contains only one major planet air & only one in water. U.S. HOUSE RESIGNATIONS DUE TO SEXUAL SCANDAL=CHIRON IN TAURUS Meanwhile, on the subject of Venus, this podcast takes a deep dive into  the chart of former CA House Rep. Eric Swalwell who earlier this week removed himself from the democratic primary for CA governor & then resigned from the House less than a day later. His resignation followed the recent disclosure of sexual abuse by women, one of whom has claimed he raped her. Similarly, TX Rep. Tony Gonzales, who likewise resigned due to sexual scandal caused by revelations of an affair with a former staffer who, when the affair ended, committed suicide. He was on the verge of being accused by Congress of “sexual misconduct.”  These resignations, which occurred after Congress’s passage last November of the Epstein Files Transparency Act which placed the issue of sexual abuse of girls & women center stage (on & off due to other more recent distractions like the Iran war) would seem to prove this issue is not going away anytime soon. This podcast takes a look at both men’s natal charts which—surprise!—show that they were born only one month apart, & that both contain a square from their natal Aquarius South Node & Leo North nodal axis to Chiron in Taurus. I believe this is a harbinger of what we can expect when Chiron enters Taurus on June 19, again underscoring that wounds related to the physical body & its natural instincts will remain front & center for quite some time yet.     THIRD QUARTER WANING LUNAR SQUARE: TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS, FOR CRISSAKES

CAPRICORN MOON SQUARE THE ARIES SUN DEMANDS RESPONSIBLE—NOT RECKLESS—ACTION!  We’re right now still in the waning stages of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle which began on March 18. That’s until we hit the Aries New Moon, which will occur on April 17 at 27’29” degrees of Aries at 4:52 am PT & 7:52 am ET next Friday, April 17. Between now & then, however, we’re dealing still with the mission to grow into feeling greater empathy for our fellow humans. Challenged at the Libra Full Moon on April 1 to release any tendency toward going it alone by shunning the advice or support of allies, this waning third quarter square—known as a “crisis in consciousness”—relates to the tension between acting impulsively & understanding our responsibility to others. Therefore, the Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon, which represents “the people” in mundane astrology, now demands a stop to the unbridled, impatient, impetuous choices & actions made by the Mars-ruled Aries Sun (the leader) without consideration of the opinions or advice of its partners. The Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon also archetypally represents of “the judge,” the symbol of wisdom & justice. So, it’s now at this third quarter waning lunar “crisis in consciousness” square that people are more consciously judging the consequences--& wisdom--of such a leader’s actions.  That’s because it’s now abundantly clear the U.S. acted independently of its NATO allies by waging war with Israel against Iran. And that such actions have proven impulsive, lacked strategic insight or well-defined achievable goals, & did not include not well thought out possible negative consequences.  We are now at the point where people are demanding that the U.S. (& Israel by extension, since both are led by leaders who favor violent retribution rather than negotiation) sit down & act more responsibly. Especially since this is in keeping with the current month’s lunar cycle’s message of empathy. This third quarter square late on April 9/early April 10 was preceded by Mars’ entrance into its own sign of Aries on April 9, so let me say a word or two about Mars in Aries. While Mars’ entrance into its own sign of Aries increases the risk of impulsive action, it reminds us also of what are the highest & best uses of Mars’ energies. And that—given that Mars’ positive attributes include motivation, ambition, & assertion—the best use of Mars’ energies relate to being motivated to come to the defense of, & protect, those weaker & less able to do so for themselves.  Because the choice is always up to us, we can opt for hasty decisions that further our recklessness, or ones that are tempered by realizing negotiation doesn’t mean surrender; rather it means the balancing of interests between parties. Given the general theme of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle as it wanes this week, we might understand that the upcoming Aries New Moon will give us the opportunity to do just that BECAUSE we’ve not grown those seeds of empathy for our fellow humans into a healthy enough plant by April 17. We’ll talk more about that next week. However, right now we can see that this week brings--in addition to Mars entrance into Aries until he moves into Venus-ruled Taurus May 18—a plethora of Aries energy including the Sun, Saturn, Neptune, & Mars.  That this will increase as the week goes on to include Mercury’s move into Mars-ruled Aries on April 14, which may well create additional bombastic rhetoric for those who are already martially inclined.  Implications include those who like to talk a lot—including those in power such as the U.S. Congress, which has a lot to consider as they return from their two-week recess on April 13, just after the Mars/Neptune conjunction in Aries late April 12/early April 13, depending on your time zone. Together, we’ve got a recipe for potential deceit by those who insist on rhetoric that feeds into what some of us may want to hear, but which lacks actual facts. In short, we’re cautioned to be “careful of people who appeal to you through your favorite ideals or delusions and then take you for a ride,” as astrologer Rob Hand describes this aspect in his book “Planets In Transit.” By April 16 when the Sun conjoins wounded healer Chiron in Aries we may begin to see how our actions have wounded others, & how this annual cycle may allow us to promote healing—for both ourselves & others Also that day we have Mars in Aries sextiling Pluto in Aquarius, & we may see new plans replace old ones in ways that provide the opportunity for developing a clearer objective. That’s probably most likely if we take this sextile’s opportunity to engage in negotiations rather than trying to use it as an opportunity to gain more power over our opponents. When Mercury conjoins Neptune in Aries late April 16/early April 17, it will be more important than ever for us to rely on our critical thinking capabilities in order to discern between fact & fiction. While good for creative insights & artistic expressions—especially of the more subtle kind—this aspect a lack of honesty making any kind of negotiations & communication unclear & confusing in nature. That this is what will lead to the Aries New Moon April 17 can be seen also in the fact that there is bound to be a lot of frustration building between now & April 19 when Mars conjoins with Saturn in Aries.  That’s an aspect that denotes feeling like one is banging one’s head against a brick wall. In Aries, it’s particularly frustrating, which is likely the situation as the Aries New Moon begins a new monthly lunar cycle on April 17 as this Mars/Saturn energy is waxing.     VENUS IN ARIES: HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE MOTHER NATURE SCORNED!

This podcast discusses how, with Venus—the planet of love, beauty, natural resources, & relationships—in Mars-ruled Aries from March 6 through March 30, she has highlighted Earth’s current dire plight vis-à-vis the depletion of its finite resources. We explore the bigger picture question here, which is: Is it possible that when we rise above politics we can more clearly see the current situation for what it realistically is--the fight to preserve our natural resources from extinction?  We go beyond politics now as we watch the death & destruction caused by the fight over oil & gas since the attack on Iran by the U.S. & Israel has disrupted 20% of the world’s flow of this finite resource. Could it be that Venus in the sign of the warrior is actually fighting back against such attacks on her precious earth? And that the current deprivation of oil & gas in the world right now is nothing more than an illustration of this fact? And is it possible that the precipitous rise in gas prices around the world right now is Mother Nature’s way of telling us we need to move away from fossil fuels & toward the production of alternative power sources that do not endanger our precious beloved planet? MAKE LOVE NOT WAR Is there a better way than going to war over the mining & use of finite resources which has hastened the destruction caused by climate change through the continuous--& yes, scientifically proven--rise in Earth’s temperature? And might we not recognize--when we look at the current picture symbolically—the error of persisting on a path that will lead to future droughts, hurricanes, fires, floods, & other so-called “natural disasters”--that these are actually manmade? And, if so, that we can unmake them? Nothing screams so loudly at us now than the situation in the Gulf And nothing could be more obvious—to those who choose to pay attention—than that we are insisting on heading down the wrong path, at least here in America if not elsewhere. The current Gulf war, the cause of our immediate international economic woes—incited in part by America’s current leader’s obsession with oil & gas uber alles, at the expense of developing alternative power sources such as solar & wind—has thus far proven fateful indeed. So, is it possible that, given the economic situation the world currently finds itself in, including the downturn in the world’s financial markets, that Venus in Aries is asking us now to finally see the light?  And that the past betrayal of partners causes wariness & distrust, so that when we then ask those same partners to help rescue us, they don’t exactly come running…  VENUS IN ARIES: SEND MONEY, GUNS, & LAWYERS As the world struggles to absorb & more consciously understand this bigger picture, its seems clear that the lack of human consciousness to mankind’s current plight mistakes fighting as the way out, when nothing could be further from the truth. As reported in the Washington Post on March 17: “Trump fumes at NATO for refusing to help secure the Strait of Hormuz, and embraces going it alone…President Donald Trump says NATO and other allies have rejected his calls to help secure the Strait of Hormuz…   “Trump’s indignant response to allies’ refusal to get involved in the war underscored that the conflict — now in its third week and causing reverberations across the global economy — is one the international community is looking to the U.S. leader to sort out himself after he launched it without consultation. “You would have thought they would have said, ‘We’d love to send a couple of minesweepers.’ That’s not a big deal,” Trump said. “It doesn’t cost very much money. But they didn’t do that.” While the question of economic affordability—meaning the ability of everyone on earth to not only survive, but to thrive—means little to those hellbent on destruction as a means of retribution, the world’s people continue to suffer.  And Mother Earth continue to weep… SUN ENTERS ARIES AT SPRING EQUINOX MARCH 20: ACTIONS RELATED TO FANTASY OR REALITY? The recent Pisces New Moon asked us to plant seeds that can grow into greater empathy for the plight of the world & all of its humans now. It’s a “there but for the grace of God, go I” energy. One that reinforces for us that no man is an island, & that "each man’s joy is joy to me, while each man’s grief is my own," as the song goes.  That this month’s lunar cycle’s message follows that of last month’s Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse--which asked us to plant humanitarian forward thinking progressive energies that can save our planet from the kind of destruction we’re seeing now--might be more obvious now in hindsight.  In short, we were asked to leave behind any fixed ideological notions that take us backward instead of forward, & that seek the benefit the few over the many. The Sun’s entrance now into Aries heralds the spring equinox in the northern & western hemiphere & foretells action. However, whether that action will be based on continued rejection of reality as the Sun conjoins Neptune on March 22 or acceptance of responsibility for what is real now by the time the Sun conjoins Saturn on March 25, remains to be seen. By the time we reach the first quarter “crisis in action” phase of this month’s lunar cycle with the cardinal square of the Cancer Moon to the Aries Sun March 25--as we wax toward the conjunction of Venus to wounded healer Chiron in Aries March 26--the question becomes whether or not the plight of humans worldwide will be not only realistically recognized but dealt with… REMEMBER: THE BIGGER PICTURE REMINDS US TO KEEP THE FAITH That all of this is occurring under the backdrop of the longer astrological cycles currently in play should by now be obvious. For example: The realignment of the international order under the waxing Saturn/Pluto cycle, the attacks on our seas & their bountiful resources under the new Saturn/Neptune cycle, & the repercussions for democracy worldwide under the already triggered U.S. Pluto return, all play a part right now. And then there’s the waxing Jupiter/Saturn cycle, which traditionally symbolically foretells the death of the old & its replacement by the new. It’s this latter cycle that might give us the most hope right now. Though hope at this spring equinox may be sorely lacking as farmers’ seasonal planting may be forestalled by the deprivation of petroleum derived products such as fertilizer, again we know it’s a call for change.  We might note here, too, that Ceres, the dwarf planet representative of fertilization of crops, is squaring Pluto now, potentially bringing transformation to this process by slowing it down.  But Ceres represents faith. And faith is most prevalent when we’re properly fed & don’t have to spend restless nights worrying about from where our next meal will come. We might note now, too, the May 19 conjunction in Aries of Chiron & Eris, the goddess of discord, chaos, & strife who, in Greek mythology instigated the Trojan War. So, it may help us to remember—despite our current dire seeming situation--that through the pain & disruption of it all, we might yet change course & navigate our way back onto the path of loving rather than abusing Mother Nature.     PISCES NEW MOON MARCH 18 & MERCURY STATIONS DIRECT MARCH 20: WE HAVE MET THE ENEMY & DISCOVERED HE IS US:

This podcast begins by reminding us that we’re not in the waning stages of the monthly lunar cycle that began with the February 17 Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse that asked us to plant seeds that help solidify our humanitarian beliefs & that progressive change should benefit all humans equally. What we got, however, by the February 24 waxing first quarter square of the Gemini Moon to the Pisces Sun, was a growing curiosity & questions about why the ideologues in power have more backwards beliefs about true equality. By the March 3 Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse, our mission was to reveal (& release) all vague, confused & confusing answers to questions seeking facts. Especially since by then the United States had joined Israel to attack Iran on February 28, shortly after the third-quarter waning square of Mars to Uranus on February 27, surprising many.  However, by the March 11 third quarter waning square of the Sagittarius Moon to the Pisces Sun, tension grew from asking questions that received no straight or verifiable answers to those focused on the overall strategy & end game for this war. And, as Jupiter stationed direct at 15’05” Cancer on March 12, the energy shifts to where we stand—both personally & collectively—in terms of morals & ethics. Retrograde since last November, Jupiter tasked us to go deep about whether we’ve been following our heart & souls’ true knowledge about what is ethical & moral, or whether we’ve simply acquiesced to the beliefs of those in power. VENUS IN ARIES, JUPITER DIRECT: MORAL JUSTICE FOR SEX TRAFFICKED RAPE VICTIMS Meanwhile, as more Epstein documents continue to be released, since VE entered war god Mars-ruled Aries on March 6, & as it waxed toward a sextile to PL in AQ March 9/10 there was this from the NYT March 9:  “Alexander Brothers Found Guilty of All Counts in Sex-Trafficking Trial The verdict comes more than a month after the trial began in Federal District Court in Manhattan where the jury heard weeks of emotional and often graphic testimony. “Three brothers, including two who were among the country’s most prominent real estate brokers, were convicted in Manhattan on Monday of engaging in a yearslong conspiracy to traffic women and girls for sex. “The brothers — Tal and Oren Alexander, who regularly closed multimillion-dollar real estate deals in New York and elsewhere, and Alon Alexander, a security executive — were found guilty on every count they each faced, and could now all face life in prison when they are sentenced on Aug. 6. The verdict comes more than a month after the trial began in Federal District Court in Manhattan, where the jury heard weeks of emotional and often graphic testimony from 11 women who had accused the Alexander brothers of rape or sexual assault. Jurors deliberated for 21 hours. In some cases, the brothers — Tal, 39, and Oren and Alon, twins who are 38 — used drugs to incapacitate their victims before raping them.”  We might hope that this is a bellwether for the Epstein scandal & that it’s the beginning verdicts that help quench the thirst of those seeking long deprived justice for sexual abuse via international sex trafficking crimes. And that Venus in Aries will ultimately succeed in her her fight to restore the natural order of reverence for feminist anima as sacred. MERCURY RETROGRADE’S BLASTS FROM THE PAST This podcast also delves into the reemergence of people & events from the past rearing their heads again today. Hmm, speaking of sexual abuse, might this recent verdict be a bellwether for the Epstein case as we learn that FBI is now investigating his sprawling Albuquerque, New Mexico, “Zorro Ranch” property,” which it neglected (or bothered) to search back when. A little Mercury retrograde action again, since the FBI knew about this property a long while back… Next, of course, is the Iran attack redux since both Israel & the U.S. claimed to have obliterated this nation’s nuclear capabilities after their attacks back in June of 2025. Oops, maybe not…maybe it’s during Mercury’s retrograde in Pisces we were able to learn we were lied to, eh?  Especially when we remember that Mercury’s Hermes is known as “the trickster” in Greek mythology, there’s the outdated intelligence used by Defense Department to target what it thought was an Iranian military structure that turned out to be a girls school. U.S. at Fault in Strike on School in Iran, Preliminary Inquiry Says, according to the NYTs on March 11: “Outdated targeting data may have resulted in a mistaken missile strike, according to the ongoing military investigation, which undercuts President Trump’s assertion that Iran could be to blame… "...Striking a school full of children is sure to be recorded as one of the most devastating single military errors in recent decades. Iranian officials have said the death toll was at least 175 people, most of them children.” And of course answers  from the U.S. Government to direct questions have been muddled & vague.  Since Mercury is related to communication, we also have the reemergence of names like Kari Lake-- remember her? She’s the right wing former candidate for Arizona Governor who Donald Trump last year appointed as the head of Voice of America, the international broadcast arm of the U.S. Government. There was this from AP on March 8: “Judge Voids Mass Layoffs at Voice of America…Federal judge rules Trump Administration’s action to dismantle Voice of America are illegal. The ruling, which said that Kari Lake’s appointment to oversee V.O.A.’s parent agency was invalid, was a major rejection of President Trump’s attempts to dismantle the government-funded news group.” WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE, NOR ANY DROP TO DRINK Next, we have the ongoing fall out of the attacks on Iranian infrastructure which seem to align with the recently begun Saturn/Neptune cycle in Aries. Numerous events, including the attacks on Iranian desalination planets, & Iranian retaliation toward nearby Gulf states have resulted thus far in destroying the ability of millions to access clean drinking water. According to the New York Times “…desalination plants in Iran and Bahrain were struck during the escalating conflict, with Iran accusing the U.S. of hitting a facility on Qeshm Island [the largest island in the Persian Gulf] that supplies water to about 30 villages, while Bahrain blamed an Iranian drone for damaging a plant there.  “Analysts warned that attacking desalination infrastructure — a primary source of drinking water for millions in the Gulf — marks a serious escalation that could threaten civilian survival and broaden the war’s impact beyond military targets.” Never mind the fact that this war has caused the Iranians to close their side of the Straits of Hormuz (Saturn=boundaries; Neptune=water, Aries=action), through which 20% of the world’s oil transits. And that the rest of the world struggles to make up for this shortfall by releasing strategic petroleum preserves to tamp down the rise in oil prices, which may see oil rise to upwards of $200 per barrel, as per some experts estimates. And, of course there's the fact that bombing Iran has resulted in setting back the cause of preventing future damaging climate change for who knows how long, but at least decades, according to experts. In addition, it was during Jupiter’s retrograde period from November 11, 2025, until it ends on March 10, 2026, that we were tasked with going deep about our intrinsic sense of our moral codes about what is right & what wrong. And whether we realize now that we’ve simply been blindly acquiescing to the morals & ethics (or lack thereof) driven solely by the moral codes of those in power. So, what is it we want as we approach Jupiter’s station direct in Cancer? Is it the release of the entire trove of Epstein documents, those revealed in the documents be damned? Is it an explanation of why six members of the U.S. military have been killed abroad thus far?  Is it why the U.S. allegedly mistakenly targeted an Iranian girl’s school & killed 168 children & staff? Or why more than one thousand Iranians have died in a non-U.S. congressionally sanctioned war? Further, does what we want include not having to spend our taxpayer dollars on war abroad—which at times has been justified as helping the Iranian people rise up against their oppressive regime—when our own people are gunned down in the streets by government-funded agents during peaceful protests? It’s being made clear by recent primaries that what voter want is not a government filled with incompetent, inexperienced, right wing idealogues greedy for money & power, but rather a democracy that affords due process to all, American AND foreign born. (Oh, & universal healthcare, too…) While it remains to be seen what the universe is going to tell us we truly need, the eventual results of events playing out now strongly advise us to repel the fixed ideological notions of those with a warped sense of values, ethics, & morals.  THIRD QUARTER LUNAR SQUARE OF SAGITTARIUS MOON TO THE PISCES SUN: ARE YOU CONFUSED ABOUT THE STRATEGETIC END GOAL OF WAR?     Meanwhile, as this monthly lunar cycle—which began at the Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse on February 17, culminated at the Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse March 3—winds down, it will reach its waning third quarter square on March 11. That’s when the Sagittarius Moon will square the Pisces Sun, creating tension between our deepest beliefs about what is just and what is not (Sagittarius) that’s at odds with the lack of answers we’re getting now, particularly about what’s legitimately legal and what’s based on legal fabrication (Pisces.)     VIRGO FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE MARCH 3 REVEALS THE PISCES SUN’S SHADOW SIDE: HIDDEN INFORMATION!

First, this podcast reminds us that we’re still in the waxing portion of the monthly lunar cycle which began with February 17’s Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse which squared Uranus in Taurus. We knew then that there would be sudden & potentially shocking revelations this month. Hence, the first quarter lunar square of the Gemini Moon to the Pisces Sun February 24 has had us asking many questions (Gemini=communication & curiosity) the answers to which have previously remained vague & unclear (Neptune-ruled Pisces=confusion.) Known as the “crisis in action” portion of the monthly lunar cycle, this first quarter square represented the growth of the seeds planted at the Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse. It was then we were asked us to separate forward thinking humanitarian ideological beliefs from groups with fixed ideologues whose narrower sets of beliefs take us backward in time.  As we move toward March 3’s Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse, which occurs at 3:38 a.m. PT & 6:38 a.m. ET at 12’54” of the Mercury-ruled sign of analytical thinking based on facts from which we may draw conclusions, we face the confusion & frustration of getting only vague, inconclusive answers from the Pisces Sun, as noted.  Nowhere was this more obvious than during former first lady & Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s forced testimony in front of the GOP majority ruled House Oversight Committee on February 26. The ideological divide noted at the Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse became obvious at Clinton turned her clarity-seeking questions back onto the committee & it’s true purpose. Despite the fact that convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell “took part in budget discussions related to the first Clinton Global Initiative conference; talked through challenges about it with both Clinton aides and Publicis Groupe, the company that produced the inaugural event; and arranged to wire $1 million to pay Publicis for its work on “the Clinton project,” according to emails in the massive cache of documents collected as part of the government’s investigations of Mr. Epstein,” as per the New York Times,  Calling this “partisan political theater,” & “and an insult to the American people,” Clinton derided the committee for wasting time asking her questions instead of calling for the testimony of people mentioned numerous times in the recently released Epstein documents. People like Elon Musk, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, & President Donald Trump--who’s mentioned thousands of times in these documents as has been reported now by many reputable media outlets.  MERCURY RETROGRADE IN PISCES KICKS OFF AN ANNUAL REVIEW OF THE EMOTIONAL QUALITY OF LIFE  No surprise that such confusion might arise as this occurred just after Mercury stationed retrograde at 22’34” Pisces late February 25 & early February 26, depending on your time zone. Mercury will remain in retrograde motion until he stations direct again at 8’29” Pisces, & this particular retrograde cycle kicks off a year of Mercury retrogrades through the water element.  This podcast discusses the deeper meaning of Mercury retrograde periods in general, and the specific call during this next year for us to dive deeply into past emotional habits & relationships to help us release hidden unconscious drives based on past experiences. If we can bring such knowledge out of the unconscious portion of our psyches & into the light of greater consciousness, we can then make the positive changes necessary for greater happiness going forward. As a harbinger of the beginning of such a review period, we’re seeing now being revealed the previously hidden names of those in contact with Epstein as he carried out building his international criminal pedophile ring.  Some participated, some advised him on how to avoid further legal or public censure after his 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor for prostitution; others simply sought favor from him because of his money & influence &/or vice versa. THE PROMINENCE OF ECLIPSE THEMES IN THE COLLECTIVE AS WE APPROACH THE MARCH 3 LUNAR ECLIPSE Either way, though, this foretells the manifestation of this particular set of eclipse themes, which is that they involve paperwork, communication, & news, along with a young person.  At the first solar eclipse the young person in the news was five-year-old Liam Consejo Ramos, taken by ICE along with his father into detention in Texas, whose bunny ear hat & spiderman backpack picture appeared as front page news across the U.S. Now, however, as we approach the March 3 Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse, the spotlight has shifted to the 13 or 14 year old girl who’s testimony of rape by Donald Trump was deleted from the FBI interview files & therefore not released with the rest of the Epstein documents. This missing interview is the perfect example of the manifestation of this eclipse’s energies: That, as the Virgo Moon opposes the Pisces Sun, factual information emerges out of the haze of the confusing nature of the legally demanded release of ALL documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. As per the independent news organization Meidas Touch: “The January 4, 2026, memo, originally flagged by journalist Lisa Rubin, instructed FBI personnel reviewing documents under the Epstein Files Transparency Act to specifically flag certain categories of materials. Among them were FBI 302 forms, which are used to memorialize witness interviews. Those are the very types of records that were previously reported as missing from document productions tied to Epstein-related investigations. “Some of those interviews involve survivors who accused Trump of sexual assault when they were just children. The existence of a directive to flag these records suggests an internal focus on managing or controlling how such materials were handled during the review process.” The question now, as we approach this Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse is what other hidden information will continue to be revealed going forward—particularly during Mercury’s retrograde period AND as the Sun conjoins with Mercury retrograde on March 7?  A Sun/Mercury conjunction usually denotes an important announcement of some kind made by someone prominent. However, when Mercury’s retrograde, it’s likely what we hear will relate to something we’ve already heard about before.  So, whether that’s continued denials, more resignations of prominent people associated with Epstein &/or Maxwell, or more hidden information coming to light, keep your ears open as this conjunction waxes now.  ANOTHER PRESIDENTIAL PRECEDENT IS BEING SET—FOR BETTER OR WORSE…  As former president Bill Clinton testifies today, February 27, we may learn more about his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein or we may not. Either way, however, the important point to recognize here (aka, the “aha!” moment) is how his forced Congressional testimony sets a precedent. This is the first time a president has been forced by subpoena to testify in front of a congressional committee, which now sets the stage for this to happen in the future. When we recognize that this testimony is now taking place during Mercury retrograde, we can assume: 1. That this particular committee doesn’t have an astrologer, lol; & 2. That portends future forced testimony by any other president, past or present. Hmm, given that these eclipses also foretell the growing divide between groups who believe in the sanctity of the U.S. Constitution & its inherent right to things like due process, etc., & those who seek to avoid adhering to upholding such rights, any turnover in Congressional majorities may well foretell a future Trump deposition. Hopefully Bill Clinton won’t be subjected to questions about UFOs or Pizzagate, as was his wife Hillary. And hopefully, any questions asked yield honest answers about his involvement, if any, with Jeffrey Epstein & his heinous morally derelict “businesses.” The point here is that this issue has gripped democrats, republicans, and independent voters alike based on the sheer disgust most feel for Epstein’s “unnatural” sexual perversions that resulted in abuse, slaver, & what the U.N. advisors have labeled “torture” of children & women. So, the message of this set of eclipses now is that such disgust will not be tolerated by the collective—both domestically & internationally--& hence it will not “disappear” as the Pisces Sun may wish right ow. In turn, the ultimate question remains: Will what’s happening now cause the ultimate downfall of more people (particularly men proven to be perpetrators guilty of such sexual crimes), including Donald Trump? Now, since this February 17 Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse—which carries several themes we’re already seeing playing out not only here in America but worldwide—it’s time for us to review our true ideological beliefs & decide whether they are about a future of betterment for all of mankind or only for a entitled few. Former Prince Andrew’s arrest on February 19, which also happened to be his 66th birthday, shocked the world given his royal lineage. However, it showed us that no one is immune from finding justice through the legal system. A protégé of Martin Luther King Jr. and James Bevel during the civil rights movement, he became one of the most prominent civil rights leaders of the late 20th and early 21st centuries,” according to Wikipedia. Then there’s the ongoing stalemate in the partial U.S. government shutdown as GOP ideologues continue to block the Democrat’s request to make modifications to Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) & Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) agents as they continue to violate due process & the 4th Amendment.    No surprise that the partial government shutdown took place as Saturn (read: resistance) entered Mars-ruled Aries, the archetypal energy of motivation & action.  There’s this from Thom Hartmann, Feb 17: The American Revolution Started Over This Kind of Abuse: Have We Forgotten? Once the government decides who qualifies for Fourth Amendment protection, rights stop being rights and start being privileges handed out by those in power…” “This fight isn’t really about immigration,” Hartmann explains. “It’s about whether the Constitution still restrains government power at all. When elected officials call it a ‘nonstarter’ to require federal agents to get a judicial warrant before kicking in doors, to give people bail or a trial before they face long-term prison, and to allow protests, they’re not debating border policy, they’re testing whether the Bill of Rights is still binding or has become merely decorative. “The Fourth Amendment: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” SATURN/NEPTUNE CONJOIN IN MARS-RULED ARIES: WAR INLAND & ON THE SEAS? And now we find ourselves on the threshold of the new Saturn/Neptune cycle as the two meet on February 20 in Aries, kicking off a astrological energy that will last for the next 36 years. This as Donald Trump has threatened to staunch the free flow of information concerning voting & voting rights by threatening to limit who can vote & define who can’t. All based on the fact that he’s an ideologue who, in combination with his many lies, seems to truly believe he lost the 2020 presidential election due to fraud inherent in the voting process.  And then there’s his threats now to go to war with Iran. Remember, Saturn represents foundations that allow us to feel secure, while Neptune is water, among other things. In Mars-ruled Aries, with the naval building up near Iran, it’s clear that Trump’s threats involve invading Iran represent a transgression of such boundaries. Like his illegal bombing of boats in the Caribbean & Pacific oceans suspected (but not proven) to be carrying illegal drugs, & his midnight military invasion of Venezuela & the kidnapping of its leader Nicolas Maduro & his wife, this most recent threat to Iran—likely endorsed by Israel’s Netanyahu since the two met recently in Washington, D.C.—seems to be based also on Trump’s fixed ideological notion that he is the king, not only of America, but of the world. Pushback has already begun as a War Powers Resolution has been introduced in Congress, stated that only they have the ability to declare & not the president alone. Tensions will likely grow as we approach the February 24 first quarter lunar square of the Gemini Moon to the Pisces Sun (since the Sun entered Pisces on February 18, the day after the Aquarius solar eclipse.) The Moon (the people) will likely continue to communicate (Gemini) their concerns with the president’s (Sun) vaguely articulated plans to invade yet another sovereign nation that has not declared war against the U.S. MERCURY RETROGRADE IN PISCES: REVIEW TIME!     SATURN ENTERS ARIES & THE AQUARIUS FULL MOON SQUARES URANUS: CAN CHANGE BE RESISTED WHEN IT’S THE ONLY CONSTANT?

    As more light gets shed on the contents of Jeffrey Epstein’s long sought after documents during this month’s Capricorn New Moon lunar cycle which began on January 18 & hit its apex at the Leo Full Moon February 1, we see a collective aha! moment awakening process dawning. But, not everyone wants to awaken from their ideological notion that a “perfect world” means one where rich elites rule through xenophobia, racism, misogyny, gender-discrimination, etc., in order to creat an "us versus them" dynamic to stay in power. Pitfalls abound, however, in that Saturn’s shadow side is its rigidity & tendency to linger in the past, while Mars-ruled Aries is its impulsive & impetuous nature that may result in hasty decisions that can hurt not only oneself but others. As we approach Saturn’s re-entrance into Aries from now until April 13, 2028, we might ponder how this will play both throughout the collective & in our personal lives. Right now, the example in front of us, in the U.S., at least, is in the fact that rigidity on two sides of the political spectrum will cause a partial government shutdown at midnight tonight. As both Democratic & Republican senators are deeply entrenched in their respective political positions—the former on achieving future progress, the latter on staying intractably stuck in past decisions—the result is frustration. That this frustration will hit those most impacted by a lack of funding for the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees not only the Immigration & Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) & the Customs & Border Patrol (CBP) agency, but also the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Transportation Security Agency (TSA), & the U.S. Coast Guard. Together, this will impact 260,000 federal employees, although not those in ICE or CBP, since they’ve been fully funded since Trump signed into law his big ugly bill last July which gave billions to the DHS for these agencies for years to come. The others, however, may see staff shortages and/or government employees working without pay until this stalemate is resolved. And that stalemate revolves around NOT sanctioning even MORE money for ICE & imposing a list of restrictions on how they are operating currently. AQUARIUS NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE THEMES INCLUDE COMMUNICATION, PAPERWORK, & YOUNG PEOPLE... What’s clear as this Capricorn New Moon lunar cycle comes to an end & the Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse heralds in a new one is that the times, they are a’changin’… This podcast takes a deep dive into the themes of not only this current set of upcoming eclipses—meaning both the Aquarius New Moon solar eclipse at 29’48” Aquarius on February 17 & the 12’40” Virgo Full Moon lunar eclipse March 3--but how these echo those from last September's set of eclipses. So, as resistance grow by those in power to investigating & acknowledging that the violation of societally agreed upon morals, ethics, & justice deserves to be revealed if not punished—you know, stuff like pedophilia, denying people due process, punishing immigrants’ children with detention, etc.—so does the collectives’ awareness that something is wrong. This solar eclipse’s squares by the Aquarius Moon & Sun to Uranus in Taurus—as both Mercury & Venus in Aquarius's squares to Uranus have already foreshadowed—reveal that not everyone is in agreement that those in power deserve to remain protected by being allowed to remain hidden in the shadows. In addition, collective empathy for those who’ve been wronged has begun to grow since Mercury & Venus entered Pisces on February 6 & 9, respectively. And that includes empathy for the sexually abused young girls & women, to the innocent immigrants & U.S. citizens vilified (most often without proof), to the innocent children detained & incarcerated with a parent or who've been separated from parents & other loved ones. Such empathy will likely grow, especially since the Sun will enter Pisces February 18, following the February 17 solar eclipse. So too will the calls for change increase as the Aquarius Sun perfects its square to Uranus in Taurus between now & February 15/16, depending on your time zone. AMERICA’S (READ: THE PEOPLES’) ATTORNEY GENERAL OR TRUMP’S PERSONAL ATTORNEY? This podcast explores also some revelations that come clear through an analyzation of U.S. Attorney General Pan Bondi’s natal chart, even though we have no definite time of birth. This is especially relevant given her astoundingly combative & aggravatingly frustrating performance in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee February 11 as we approached Saturn’s move into Aries on February 13. Born November 17, 1965, in Tampa, Florida, aspects within Bondi's chart reveal the origin of her discompassionate emotional relationship with women—as so clearly evidenced during her refusal to even acknowledge the existence, and the pain, of several Epstein sexual abuse victims during her recent Senate Judiciary hearing. A close look reveals how her lack of healthy nurturing also seems to block her ability to empathize with with women in general & sexual abuse victims specifically. That she also lacks air—with only Jupiter in Aquarius—shows her lack of objectivity on one hand but also her niche brilliance likely responsible for how far she’s gotten in the legal hierarchy thus far. However, she also lacks fire, as Mercury in Sagittarius is her only planet in that element, & this can lead—as per Jungian psychological astrologer Richard Ideman—to a great deal of rage. These elemental lacks tend to appear during times of stress or crisis. After witnessing her arrogant & angry performance the other day: Ya think???
