Beyond the Miracle
In this episode Rich and Seth tell some of the stories leading up to the 1980 Winter Olympic hockey tournament in Lake Placid New York including the history of Russian hockey and the rise of the Soviet Red Army Teams. Tales of how the defections of the Stastny brothers from Czechoslovakia and other Russians including Sergei Federov have made the NHL what it is today. Along the way hear about some of the more prominent members of team USA and what became of them after winning the gold medal.
