Episode 5 - The Ecosystem of Afghan Women in Tech

Has it ever been illegal for you to get a basic education? Has it ever been illegal for you to work? Have you ever heard about underground online decentralised educational initiatives to teach girls in a country that won’t let them go to school? Lima Madomi has graciously agreed to share her story and help us get much better perspective on all of those issues. Her experiences of what it’s like to be a woman in STEM in Afghanistan and how this ecosystem has shifted drastically over the past few years is deeply enlightening!  Lima Madomi is a student at the University of Geneva, an alumni of the Internet Governance Forum fellowship and the events manager for the Afghan Students Association Switzerland. I genuinely believe you will want to listen to this conversation. Even after weeks of research, the stories Lima has shared with us are beyond courageously vulnerable!
