Über 50 Jahre setzte er sich für die Adivasi ein. 2020 wurde er unter dem Vorwurf des "Terrorismus" verhaftet. Er verstarb 2021 in Folge der Haft in Mumbai. He campaigned for the Adivasi for over 50 years. In 2020, he was arrested on charges of ‘terrorism’. He died in 2021 as a result of imprisonment in Mumbai. He was born in 1930 in Kafroun, Syria. Das Gespräch handelt von der Entwicklung Irans im 20. und 21. Jahrhundert. Es bleibt offen, ob der iranischen Gesellschaft der Sprung nach absoluter Schah Herrschaft und islamistisch geprägter klerikaler Dikdatur hin zu einer liberal-bürgerlichen Demokratie gelingt. / 🎓Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Bert Fragner (1941-2021). Bert Fragner was Professor of Iranian Studies in Berlin, Bamberg (obituary) and Vienna, among other places. The conversation deals with Iran's development in the 20th and 21st centuries.     🎓 Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit Hanna Krall. Hanna Krall ist eine polnische Journalistin und Schriftstellerin. Sie wurde 1935 geboren und überlebte als Kind in einem Versteck das Warschauer Ghetto. Ihre auf Tatsachen beruhenden Geschichten handeln unter anderem von Kindern, deren jüdische Eltern von den Nationalsozialisten ermordet wurden und die zum Schutz vor den Häschern von polnischen Familien adoptiert wurden. Erst kurz vor dem Tod der Adoptiveltern gestehen diese ihnen ihre tatsächliche Herkunft. Hanna Kralls Bücher sind in 17 Sprachen übersetzt. She was born in 1935 and survived the Warsaw ghetto as a child in hiding. Her fact-based stories are about children whose Jewish parents were murdered by the Nazis and who were adopted by Polish families to protect them from their persecutors. The adoptive parents only confess their true origins shortly before their death. Hanna Krall's books have been translated into 17 languages.     🎓 Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit Birgit Rommelspacher (1945-2015). Birgit Rommelspacher war Psychologin und Pädagogin. Sie prägte den Begriff der "Dominanzkultur". Damit beschrieb die Frauenforscherin Diskriminierungen von Minderheiten. Rommelspacher erläutert dies am Beispiel des islamischen Kopftuchs (s. Kopftuchstreit). Teile der Frauenbewegung propagieren bis heute  Frauenemanzipation nur im Rahmen westlicher Kultur. Rommelspacher stellt fest, dass Dominanzkultur rechtsradikale und rassistische Frauenbilder begründet. /🎓 Christoph Burgmer in conversation with Birgit Rommelspacher (1945-2015). Birgit Rommelspacher was a psychologist and educator. She coined the term ‘dominance culture’. The women's researcher used this term to describe discrimination against minorities. Rommelspacher explains this using the example of the Islamic headscarf. To this day, parts of the women's movement propagate women's emancipation only within the framework of Western culture.     🎓 Christoph Burgmer im Gespräch mit Shirin Ebadi. Die 1947 geborene Juristin und erste Richterin Irans, erhielt 2003 den Friedensnobelpreis. Sie setzt sich insbesondere für die Rechte für Frauen und Kinder ein und lebt seit einigen Jahre in Großbritannien im Exil. In dem Gespräch  berichtet die Menschenrechtsaktivistin von Geschichte und Gegenwart der iranischen Frauenbewegung.
