Videos About Retro Games | Sean Seanson

Sean Seanson’s very first Youtube video, a comprehensive review of every single Disney PS1 release, is over 3 hours long. Sean soon became known in the retro gaming community for his hilariously long and cozy videos exploring the oddities of the PS1 catalog. I was first drawn to his channel because of his highly distinctive style. Everything from the thumbnails and transitions, to the sound and music are meticulously designed. In today’s episode Sean shares about how he developed his signature aesthetic, as well as the process behind making videos.  We also take some time to appreciate some of the best…and WORST sound design in retro games.  🎮🎹🎻 Our featured composer for this episode is Pumodi, you can listen to his music and contact him here:  https://jeffbriceaudio.com/ 👁📼🎮 To follow Sean Seanson and catch up on his awesome catalog of videos, buy some merch, or buy him a cup of coffee, check out his various links here:  https://linktr.ee/seanseanson 👚👒💲 Check out my brand new MERCH STORE! Harry Potter, Horror Films and Mobile Games | Michael Cullen

After spending 4 years honing the art of sound design and becoming a rerecording mixer, Michael Cullen realized the Hollywood lifestyle was NOT for him. So he started from scratch as a game audio sound designer and quickly found his niche. Now, he's an associate audio director at one of the world's largest mobile game companies: Zynga. In this episode, we talk about what it's like to work for Zynga on some of the top IP's in the world, including Harry Potter and Willy Wonka. We also talk about how mobile game release cadences are vastly different from other game development cycles, and what it's like being in the manager's chair. This episode is loaded with great job finding wisdom, and techniques for managing audio and music in busy games. 🎮🎹🎻 Our featured composer for this episode is Haakon Davidsen, you can listen to his music and contact him here: https://www.haakondavidsen.com/ 🎵 To get in touch with Michael, add him on Linked in, or check out his website: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaellcullen/ 🗣 https://mcullen.me/ 💲 * * * Are you looking for a talented, charismatic, and dare I say HANDSOME sound designer / composer to join your team?
