Great History of Austin

This should be mandatory listening for all the Californians trying to change Austin

Keeping old Austin alive!

Barnes and Hager are Austin’s answer to New York’s Bowery Boys. More than researching the history of this constantly evolving city, they’ve in some cases actually lived it, and are great, easygoing storytellers who are fun to listen to. As a native Austinite, I cannot recommend enough!

Well done…

…But not above repeating political pablum, like the Dems and R’s switched sides. Too bad they let their own ignorant self promoting political attitudes color how they report history.

Guess they haven’t bothered to listen to LBJ’s infamous comments on race. Or, try looking around Austin and see the historic legacy of generational Democrat political control - Have you guys forgotten your episode on the “Master Plan”?!
