    018: "How Do We Cope with PAIN?": A Discussion with Austin Martin

    In this rad jab with fellow disciple and brother-in-Christ, Austin Martin, we discuss coping with PAIN from a couple of angles. Although we sort of buzz around intimate relationships in the realm of the discussion, I am curious about how humans would apply the nuggets that Martin drops throughout the podi-sode.     017: "How Do We Get to the Heart of the Matter?"

    In this second to last podi-sode on Anchor (now Podcasting for Spotify), I spoke with my sister-in-Christ and fellow disciple, Dr. Reverend Reagan Williams about the topic "heart". In this dynamic discussion, Reagan and I jabbed about what is means to advocate authentically in our respective professions, how to show up in conversation independently and with each exchange, as well as introspectively checking in with our spiritual well-being, and so much more!     016: "What is BOLDNESS?"

    In this 2nd podi-sode of the New Year, we explore a concept and my perspective on what "bold" is and what "boldness" looks like. Are you willing to take risks? How likely are you to stand up for those who cannot speak up for themselves? As women, are you likely to go to your boss and say: "I've done X-Y-Z over a protracted period of time, here are the impacts of my contribution(s), I'd like to see a raise."? Who is more likely to break the ice, you or the man you're ogling? When your children are being mistreated at school, what steps are you willing to take? All of these examples sort of encourage us to be more curious. My go-to questions: 1. Who am I not? 2. Where am I in space? 3. What do I entertain? 4. How do I respond? 5. Which battles are not my own? It is with these question prompts that I'm able to recenter, recalibrate and execute boldness. Tune into this podi-sode and then try it on for yourself!

    014: How is That? An Authentic Soliloquy on Humility

    In this pod-isode of AB, I jab about a recent convo where I "survived" a barrage of questions regarding my faith. As a Christian Believer, I needn't defend my faith AND, there are times when non-Believers are curious enough to challenge and quite literally take jabs at what one believes. Although we are unable to "defend" God, I learned (in that jab) how to stretch and reflect on how to represent the Kingdom in a way that many may not be accustomed...authentically. Yes, two humans can have these discussions if at least ONE person is willing to listen. You will learn: 1. Ways that I navigated the discussion. 2. How one might feel during a discussion around religion. 3. Examples of how to direct your conversation. 4. How convos like this truly stretch you as a person and Christian Believer. 5. What humility can look like during hard topics that absolutely should not be avoided.
