S2 Episode 14 - Discovering internalised PDA as an autistic adult

In this episode I share why I believe my most confusing and destructive experiences and behaviours as an undiagnosed autistic child and adult can be explained by internalised PDA (pathological demand avoidance / pervasive drive for autonomy).

Honest, Heartfelt, Inspiring

Toni shares a really detailed self discovery process with her listeners through this show that is strikingly genuine and beautiful. People seeking to better understand the experience of autistic people won’t find a better resource. The best part is that the show weaves concepts of humanity that all people can relate with, no matter their neurotype.

Love it!

As someone that was just diagnosed with ASD, this is beyond relatable. I really enjoyed all these episodes and am looking forward to more as I make sense of my own self and how it all relates to my late diagnosis!

Deep Sharing

This podcast is Toni sharing her personal experience rather than hosting different guests for an hour each, so she’s able to go much deeper and build on previous episodes each week. There’s great value in that continuity! So much of what she shares is relatable to anyone discovering they’re autistic later in life, and her vulnerability is a gift.
