Can an AI chatbot change your political beliefs?

Researchers at several universities tested how successful artificial intelligence can be at political persuasion, and found some AI chatbots were 40-50% more successful than a static message at getting people to change their views. And those views often stayed changed weeks later. So sad to hear that Ms. Jamali is not a fan of Gin. Our go-to Gin for a Gin Martini (definitely stirred not shake; love 007 but he definitely got it wrong…) is Hendricks. If the Gin is not juniper berry dominant, then it is not preferred, in our humble opinion. Love this podcast!

What it says on the title. The Thoughts on the Market podcast ad being vomited on repeat is incredibly annoying, and I really don’t know why Marketplace is regularly promoting a podcast with such a gratingly annoying voice. It’s already made me unsubscribe from Morning Report, and this is next if it keeps up. It’s amazing content once you get past the terrible ads but at a certain point, I can’t handle the constant skipping.

With a parade of hosts, lackluster stories—some with a 1.5 minute runtime—that didn’t make the flagship program, and three ad blocs (try listening a few episodes back-to-back and you will feel that you’re listening to the same ads over and over with some tiny reporting in between) this podcast is an afterthought among Marketplace leaders and staff. I wonder why I should treat any differently.
