An incredbile AP for all ages

Autonomic is brillant. It has some of the best worldbuilding I've encountered, the players are amazing performers, and Kat is a wonderful GM/story teller. The story centers around children and the show is child friendly, but it is still absolutely enjoyable to listen to as an adult.

Awesome actual-play! And incredibly unique...

Like many who are huge fans of Kat Kuhl from her work with Campaign and One-Shot, I excitedly followed Kat to enjoy her new creative actual-play of Autonomic, not really knowing what to expect with the theme of middle schoolers who have powers and go to school to help fulfill their roles as "nomics". I am SO GLAD this podcast exists and has shot up my personal rankings to easily become one of my favorite actual-plays, for one big reason: it is easily the most unique AP I've heard. Kat's GM style is just so friggin' fun with having an incredibly well thought out world to explore, but being truly handing the baton over to the players within a framework to take the reigns and see where their roleplays take the story and characters. This has totally breathed new life into actual-plays for me, and it has a perfect balance of hilarious, playful, full of heart, touching dramatic moments, and absolutely charming. All four roleplayers (some are regulars on Campaign/Sky Jacks) are just excellent and it is their collective voices and distinct personalities that make this podcast shine, along with Kat Kuhl's brilliant GM-ming. So glad this podcast exists, and it's about time an actual play explores middle school themes and produces a podcast that can be equally enjoyed by young adults and adults, having plenty of complex emotions and never watering things down. Just brilliant, keep up the great work Kat!
